What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Moore - Verified booking

Perfect location on a quiet site. Very peaceful and had a sea view. Decking area has enough seating area in the sun. Comfortable caravan with seating, TV, usual kitchen equipment and we were left a cake. Site is pretty and well kept with steps to a beautiful beach with a calm sea. Those with mobility problems may struggle or need assistance to get down the steps but you can access the beach further up the coast by car. There is a cafe and toilets further up the beach area. Well stocked mini supermarket in the village. If you eat out I would suggest to reserve in advance. We went to Dylan's in Criccieth and The Cliffs Restaurant. We visited Ty Coch Inn beach area and Whistling Sands Porthor. Good property for short break relaxing break.

The caravan is of high quality and very well equipped. As others have said it’s a quiet site, there were only a handful of other occupants on the site, which I thought unusual for end Sept. There is nowhere to hang towels or wet coats otherwise storage was good. The fire in the lounge took the chill off cold evenings which was nice. Due to poor weather, wind and rain the noise inside the caravan was so loud at times I couldn’t sleep. The location is lovely and views amazing and nice walk down to beach but not much to do on north coast so I wouldn’t return but only for this reason.

      • Lovely location; very peaceful and beautifully maintained. • All of the on-site staff we met were polite and helpful. Special thanks to Ben for his advice on local places of interest and amenities. • Greatly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider re-visiting the site in the future. • W29 was clean and tidy upon arrival. The local fruit cake was both unexpected, and delicious – we found a local source and bought several as gifts for our return! home!

Aberafon Holiday Park was the ideal place for a very quiet and relaxing week in early September. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the site spotlessly clean and well cared for. Access to the site was easy. There are shops locally just 5 minute drive away. The beaches are beautiful and very clean. We had an amazing view from our veranda,

Lovely caravan with nice view of the sea. Would avoid school holidays due to children gathering to play ball games loudly until well into the evening outside the caravan as there is a small green. Our car and other residents cars in close proximity of where the children were playing. Apart from that had a lovely time and would go back in term time.
