This cottage has the potential to be exceptional.

It's very dark and cosy, which for December was great. It's tucked away without a drive, but we found the on road parking to be absolutely fine. We really enjoyed reading about the property's history, which was included as part of the welcome information. We appreciated the firewood for the first fire, and the sparkling wine in the fridge was a nice touch. There is a well stocked Spar down the road, and it is very close to some stunning beach walks. Communication with the owner was great when we couldn't find the immersion switch for the hot water - friendly and very helpful. If you are considering this cottage, though, know that you will need to bring *everything* with you. There was one toilet roll, one tea towel, one bin liner for the small kitchen bin, no hand soap, no hair dryer (not great to discover that right before a brisk beach walk in December!), no heater in either of the bedrooms. The single tea towel quickly became smelly because there is no central heating so therefore no radiator to dry it on. Many holiday lets we have stayed in have everything you need to make it a home from home - this isn't one of those properties, so just bear that in mind. Finally, for dog owners: the garden is not connected to the cottage. It is totally separate, so letting your dog out for a wee before bed or in the middle of the night isn't an option - you'll need to put their lead on and take them out. Overall a very cosy cottage full of character and history, it just needs a bit more attention to detail.

The bungalow was very well equipped, the kitchen especially, it has a very nice modern bathroom with both a multi action shower and a bath, ideal for my grandchildren.

Beds were comfy and the bungalow had two tv,s and the children loved the wii. I couldnât get the dryer part of the washer/ dryer to work, I tried two drying settings, and I couldnât find any instructions for this appliance although I have owned a washer/ dryer myself. When booking this bungalow the flats were not shown or mentioned it looked like there were three bungalows in a row. Later when I downloaded the Sykes app after paying in full,more photos were available, showing flats adjacent to the bungalows but it still was not made clear the position of this bungalow in relation to the surrounding flats, nor was this clearly evident in the photos. Nor could I access detailed reviews which usually are very helpful in highlighting points to be aware of and helpful tips on the area. While the bungalow is behind three storey flats and access is gained by going through the flats it actually didnât cause any problems with noise, although we kept interrupting a game of football on arrival when we were unloading our car and later when we were bringing our online grocery delivery to the bungalow. So while we did enjoy our holiday very much had we known prior to booking the exact location we wouldnât have chosen this bungalow.

Lovely stay at The Bungalow from 29/6/24.

Very clean, very comfortable with everything we needed. Weâve stayed at other properties at Tywod Arian, but having a garden which was enclosed and safe for our dog made a real difference. Beds are very comfortable, all rooms are furnished to a high standard. Loved the big TV and another in the second bedroom is a bonus. Loved the many board games, especially on the days when the weather wasnât great. The welcome pack was also very much appreciated. We had a welcome text from the owner, Jo, which was a lovely personal touch. We love Morfa Nefyn, the beach, the walks, the local cafe and pub all within a few hundred yards. This time we were lucky enough to see the seals at Porthdinllaen, a really magical experience. Everything about the holiday and the accommodation was first class and we canât thank the owners enough for allowing us to stay, especially with our dog. There were doggy treats, dog bowls and throws for the settees and chairs, and a handy outdoor shower was convenient for washing sandy paws, itâs so nice to feel your dog is welcome too. We wouldnât hesitate to book again and would highly recommend the Bungalow.

This is our second stay at this propertyâ¦â¦.

It is such a perfect location for us. Very comfortable inside and quality furnishings and beds, bedding immaculate and nice thick towels provided. Everything you need apart from a dishwasher. To make it even better the addition of a hairdryer in one of the rooms would be greatâ¦..I mentioned this last year as well. On a safety aspect the shower is over the bath, there is nothing to hold on to when stepping in or out, I took my own bath mat this year as it can become quite slippyâ¦..but the addition of a grab handle on the wall would be of great benefit to stop slips and falls, especially if you are not very âyoungâ. The key safe outside is also very stiff so took my key out daily. All in all it wa a most comfortable stay, with the little âsnagsâ mentioned rectified it would be a fantastic one. Recommends are The Cliffs, Ty Coch and the Golf club bar/snacks. Still not had time to try the pub in Eden which is only half mile walk. Will definitely be back again. The weather was also very kind to us which makes your holiday even better.

Very friendly and helpful owners.

Extremely comfortable beds - haven't slept so well in ages ! Well equipped house set within a short distance of the sea and superb coastal walks. Just a 10 minute drive from Pwllheli. Very quiet location. Lovely pub with good food nearby. Some minor issues with the listing. In the "Features" it quotes "Broadband/Wifi". In the notes it does say "no wifi" but I missed that originally. There is none but there is an excellent 4G signal from a mast nearby. It also says "Washing Machine/Tumble Drier" but these are outside the house, set next to toilets for the next-door caravan site. When that is busy, I guess you might wait to use those machines. The caravans are set well back from the house so noise wasn't a problem. You will need to take Â£1 coins for those machines and if the electric meter needs topping up. We only had to put Â£5 in the meter all week and I want to stress none of the above issues were a concern to us, but might be to others. We had a wonderful holiday and would not hesitate to return again.
