**Review of Our Stay at Heritage Retreat: 10/10!

** Our holiday was a perfect 10/10! **Location (10/10)** The retreat boasts stunning coastal views and a tranquil atmosphere, making it a great escape. It’s also conveniently near charming towns and Cardiff City **Accommodations (10/10)** Our rental was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a cozy living area featuring a fireplace and comfortable bedrooms for relaxation and amenities for our dog also. Everything was exceptional quality! And we loved that it had its own hot tub also! A short walk away is the most wonderful oldie worldly pub The Plough and Harrow and there’s also walks along the Glamorgan Heritage coastline on the doorstep **Amenities (10/10)** The kitchen was fully equipped for holiday and extra logs for the wood burning stove available onsite. **Cleanliness (10/10)** The property was spotless upon arrival, showing the hosts' dedication to cleanliness and detail. **Customer Service (10/10)** The hosts were welcoming and responsive and a thoughtful welcome basket filled with treats and a milk was kindly left for us in the fridge. Nothing was too much trouble for Glyn and Phillipa they were gems! **Overall Experience (10/10)** Our time at Heritage Retreat was magical, combining beautiful views, festive decor, and excellent accommodations, making this holiday unforgettable. **Final Thoughts:** For a memorable Christmas getaway by the sea, Heritage Retreat is a true gem. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Fabulous and quirky little holiday spot.

I spent very peaceful and relaxing week here with my 7month old puppy. He had a fantastic time playing in the secure garden. I must admit I when I booked it I didn’t think I’d spend much time here, I wanted to explore South Wales and this was reasonably priced ( holiday cottages are getting expensive for the solo traveller!) However it’s a beautiful spot and the carriage has everything you need and is so cosy. Luckily I had nice weather so I spent most evenings by the fire pit enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Only interrupted by the neighbouring horses looking for their carrots! If you get a clear night its great for stargazing. There are some lovely walks from the doorstep and plenty more only 10/20 min drive. The other property Rabbit Hill hut is just as lovely, I had a look round ( with permission!) The owners are friendly and helpful and gave me loads of advice on local places to visit. I could happily have spent another week here just chilling out and I was very sad to leave. I’ll just have to book again!

A beautiful secluded holiday home with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The scenery through the beacons is breath taking, and the same goes for the working farm you arrive at. The owners met us on arrival with some extra towels and bits then left us too our own devices. They offered us the opportunity to go and feed the lambs which I thought was lovely as you can see they are always so busy but we didn't want to intrude on this stay. Maybe next time, as we will book this place again! The holiday home is perfectly sized for a few days/ weeks stay but I will state to make sure that you take everything you'll think you'll need as the shop is not just round the corner- to us this was part the fun... though forgetting the milk didn't go down well! If you want romance, peace and beautiful scenery then this place is a must.

This Property was brilliant! They had everything you could want there so no need to pack anything but clothes and some food. Was super dog-friendly. Being set on a large field made it perfect for my dog to walk around whilst we are at the cabin. The hosts made sure the place was spotless for us and they included booklets with local shops, restaurants, etc, and all things you can do in the area. They had a large bowl and a small one for your dog with a stand. There was plenty of room inside. The bed was super comfy! And they supplied plenty of BBQ and log burner supplies to keep you going for a good week . We have already booked our next stay with them next month ! Very very happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone

This is a beautiful, peaceful accommodation, exactly as described!

Being off the grid with no wifi was very refreshing and I loved the calming atmosphere of this beautiful carriage. I would highly recommend to anyone else wanting to have a break from the world! The only slight challenges noticed were that there was no sponge/cloth for washing up which we hadn’t realised before visiting we’d need to bring, and the shower tray filled up a bit when in use. It would have also have been nice to have maybe had a cupboard or shelf for storing some of our things on but I appreciate space is tight! It was wonderful to be able to sit outside and see the horses enjoying themselves in the paddock and we enjoyed trying to make ourselves a fire in the pit provided. Hosts are very helpful and kind.
