The roomy, comfortable living and surrounding fields and views make this cottage perfect for a small family. The large doors from the front garden area take you into the spacious sitting room complete with comfortable seating, a contemporary woodburning stove and a Smart TV, here guests can sit back and relax after a busy day exploring the area. The kitchen is nothing short of impressive with stylish, modern furnishings and plenty of space to cook delicious meals for the family. This cottage also comes with two well-furnished, welcoming bedrooms and a fashionable shower room with a tremendous shower.
To the front of the cottage sits an incredible courtyard area with plenty of seating, a well-kept lawn, a stylish gas BBQ and a mobile dog kennel. There are also numerous surrounding fields for your dog to enjoy at its leisure. Ashbourne is under 4 miles away and offers a variety of shops on traditional cobbled streets as well as many pubs and restaurants. Alton Towers theme park is just a 20 minute drive away for thrillseekers. Matlock is a shorter drive away, a beautiful location baring a lot of scenery. Lying south of the Peak District, Ashbourne is a perfect example of an English market town - it has a market place with stalls, eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. In its heyday in the 18th century, the town was a fashionable social centre and many fine Georgian buildings remain from this period. Today the town still has much to offer in terms of restaurants and inns and is regarded as something of a haven for antique hunters - but don’t expect a bargain! For those who prefer outdoor pursuits, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by. Alton Towers is just 20 minutes away.

Very clean and well equipped. Great location for dogs as a good walk straight out the gate. Owners live next door and very helpful. It might be helpful to have a what3words location for the turnoff from the road as at first glance there are several possibilities.

A welcoming log burner was already lit and greeted us on arrival. The accommodation was exactly as described- the completely enclosed garden for our two dogs was ideal. Grey Roofs was well equipped, modern and spacious, with easy accessibilty to the Peak District.

Apparently Wi-Fi could be connected but we never managed that so communicating was non exsistent .Sadly the sewer just outside the garden was being repaired and was smelly
