Thereâs a very high standard of décor in the cottage and also plenty of good cooking equipment for self-catering. The bathroom is particularly spacious and plenty of hot water for the large shower. The surroundings are lovely, well off the main road and thereâs multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy the views with a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Easy to spend a day relaxing with a book here. There is plenty to do locally including historic towns, walks, country houses and pubs. Note that this cottage is not particularly private without drawing curtains or closing blinds as it is at ground level, there is another rental property attached, the access drive faces the front door and all the windows have clear glass, including the bathroom. We would book here again, but perhaps try the cottage next door next time around, which is more private. Recommended.

David greeted us and he was very helpful, showing us around and suggesting places to go and also where to eat. The hamper was beautiful and much appreciated a lovely surprise. Will love to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay!
