Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and thoughtful touches, such as milk and biscuits on arrival. Despite some minor maintenance issues, the cottage's charm and the owners' responsiveness leave a lasting positive impression.
The majority of guests report the cottage as very clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as stained carpets and a need for deeper cleaning in some areas, which slightly impacts the overall cleanliness score.

The presence of a secure garden and conservatory adds to the overall comfort, although there were comments about low-hanging lights and difficulty with shower use.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as milk and biscuits on arrival, these are not consistently referenced across all reviews. As such, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available information, and it is important to note that such gestures are not guaranteed.

Upon walking into the cottage it was lovely and warm. There's print out's around the cottage with helpful information for using the heating system, dryer etc. There's also a folder full of information for not only the cottage but for everything in the local area. A few things could do with updating around the cottage but nothing that detracted from our stay. There's a nice game of guess the light switch that had me entertained for the first day too. We would happily stay here again and will most probably book again in a few years.
