Guests say

Sunnyside Cottage in Skegness is a well-received holiday rental, particularly praised for its clean, cosy atmosphere and secure, dog-friendly garden. Guests appreciate the property's peaceful village location and its proximity to local attractions. The owner's warm welcome is frequently mentioned, contributing to the property's homely feel. While some guests suggest updates and maintenance could enhance the experience, the majority reflect on a pleasant stay.

Most guests found Sunnyside Cottage to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as dust and cobwebs, which slightly lowers the score.

The cottage's location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and convenience to nearby Skegness, Ingoldmells, and the Lincolnshire Wolds. The secure garden is a hit with dog owners, and the village setting is appreciated for its peace.

Guests generally find the cottage cosy and the garden a comfortable space for pets. Some reviews, however, mention that the furniture and beds could be more comfortable, indicating room for improvement.

The facilities at Sunnyside Cottage are often described as adequate and contributing to a 'home from home' experience. Nonetheless, several guests have suggested that the white goods and heating system require updating, and the lack of Wi-Fi is noted.

While the reviews reflect a welcoming owner and a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Dog friendly garden. Just right for a weeks break.

Garden was excellent for our little dog. Property itself was a bit too cluttered with owners possessions, felt a bit like we had gone to stay with an elderly relative. Beds not particularly comfortable, maybe needs new mattresses. Because if all the clutter cleanliness wasn't 100%, dusty and a few cobwebs. Lounge window very dirty inside. On arrival had to wash cutlery as a few items had been left with dried food on them ( mainly dessert spoons... Looked like cereals). Despite these comments, the bungalow was well placed for exploring the area, and with just a little TLC would be a very good place to visit again.
