The perfect cottage to explore The Lake District national park, sweeping countryside views and excellently located close to the market town of Kendal.
The Dairy is in a fantastic location on the edge of Kendal with all the amenities the market town has to offer, yet tucked away with sweeping countryside views. It's a perfect location to enjoy the Lake District National Park.

Excellent location on the edge of Kendal and the cottage itself has wonderful views! We very much enjoyed our stay there. However, the interior of the cottage is very dated - I struggled with the concept of the carpet in the bathroom and kitchen, and the photos on the website are very well taken to maximise the desirable aspects of the cottage.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. We loved it

Delightful, exactly as expected from looking at the on-line photographs. We especially enjoyed having a private out door space with a wonderful view. The size and layout is perfect for a couple, the kitchen is generously sized for a property of this size, the separate living room similarly generous, its easy to use and with good weather a really relaxing place to unwind being able to step from the living room straight into the outdoors with a spectacular view. Whether sunny or not, the view and scenery are wonderful. We could make a circular walk from the property which is always good on the first day, i.e. not getting into the car. The garden is well maintained and aids in the sense of privacy, the construction materials (dry stone walls) are redolent of the area. We enjoyed the nearby independent shops, Plumgarths and Lovingly Artisan
