The Dairy in Kendal is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate its proximity to the Lake District and Kendal town centre, with many enjoying the stunning views and tranquil setting. The property is described as comfortable and cosy, providing a homely feeling and a good base for exploring the area. Some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, but overall, guests have had positive experiences and would recommend the cottage.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean, spotless, and immaculate, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to the Lake District and Kendal town centre. However, some guests noted the difficulty of access in snowy conditions and the uphill walk from town.

Reviews frequently mention the cottage's comfort, with its cosy and homely atmosphere, spacious rooms, and quiet environment contributing to a relaxing stay.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a few guests suggesting additions such as egg cups, a bath mat, and microwave containers. Some minor issues with heating were reported but resolved quickly.

While some guests expected a welcome pack and basic condiments, these were not consistently provided, and there are not enough reviews mentioning these aspects to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while such amenities can enhance the experience, they are not guaranteed.

Delightful, exactly as expected from looking at the on-line photographs. We especially enjoyed having a private out door space with a wonderful view. The size and layout is perfect for a couple, the kitchen is generously sized for a property of this size, the separate living room similarly generous, its easy to use and with good weather a really relaxing place to unwind being able to step from the living room straight into the outdoors with a spectacular view. Whether sunny or not, the view and scenery are wonderful. We could make a circular walk from the property which is always good on the first day, i.e. not getting into the car. The garden is well maintained and aids in the sense of privacy, the construction materials (dry stone walls) are redolent of the area. We enjoyed the nearby independent shops, Plumgarths and Lovingly Artisan
