An excellent welcome pack made it possible to have an instant cup of tea on arrival! The cottage is well situated for easy access to both harbour and the surrounding beaches. The kitchen was well stocked with enough crockery and utensils to woo any cook! ( Must admit, not used by me,I-come on holiday to eat out!) A great little retreat, enjoy! We liked the quieter atmosphere of Amble, the ‘Eateries’ were varied and plentiful to suit all tastes and pockets.

We did, however find all the laminated instructions a bit overwelming and, partly due to the weather, the cottage is very dark downstairs. Amble is great but the weather was pretty grim so we will return and hope for better weather.
