About this property

A really classy little holiday retreat in a picturesque Peak District village close to all Derbyshire's myriad of attractions.

Swallows Nest is an impressive one level cottage on the edge of the picturesque village of Birchover. Inside is tastefully decorated, with a glowing wood burning stove, comfortable furniture and original features such as wooden beams. Relax in the lounge, with the fire roaring whilst looking out the glass doors at the extensive garden and its beautiful surroundings. The Limestone Way is a wonderful footpath to help you explore the Peak District hills.

This is a lovely cottage in a very good location for exploring the Peak District and its popular towns. The cottage is very well equiped with a garden that attracts many species of birds and other wildlife. This is certainly one of the best self-catering holidays we have had. A very helpful and friendly owner too.
