The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with the cottage being situated in a picturesque village, close to walking paths and a quality pub, making it an ideal base for exploring the Peak District.

The cottage is often referred to as cosy and comfortable, with a good heating system and comfortable bedding. Some guests mentioned the dining table size and firm mattresses, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.

Excellent location in centre of pretty village directly opposite a lovely pub with access to lots of footpaths for walking. Very well equipped and comfortable. High quality bedding, towels and kitchen equipment. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits as welcome package very much appreciated. Easy access and good information prior to arrival - accidental damage deposit refunded very promptly after stay. Would definitely stay here again - thank you Dormy

A very comfortable and cosy cottage right in the middle of the peak district. We had a great time!

The village of Foolow is beautiful, we really liked it. The location of the cottage was central to many places in the Derbyshire Dales so it suited us down to the ground. We took our granddaughter and the cottage was spacious enough for the extra person, although I would say that the dining table was not really big enough for three people (but we managed). There was everything we needed for our stay and it was very clean and tidy on our arrival. We would stay in Dormy Cottage again if we were ever holidaying in the area.
