This well-presented, semi-detached property lies on the outskirts of the historic town of Buxton, surrounded by the great Derbyshire outdoors. Set over three floors and decorated with neutral hues and contemporary touches, Burbage View is a wonderful base for families looking to discover the true delights of the Peak District. The entrance hall leads through into an open-plan kitchen/diner, boasting a contemporary feel with spot lighting and integrated appliances. On a warm day, slide open the bi-fold doors to bring the outside in, allowing seamless access to the enclosed patio garden, perfect for a refreshing drink in the sunshine. The lounge can be found on the first floor, comprising of two settees where you can get comfortable following a day of rambles, talking about the adventures to come and planning where to visit next whilst watching the sheep on the fields behind. As you while away the hours, venture off to bed in either of the four bedrooms, with a single on the first floor and ground floor and two king-size bedrooms on the second-floor, one of which benefits from en-suite facilities. Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside from here and the lounge below. The town of Buxton makes a fabulous holiday base; enjoy tours of The Pump House Room and Buxton Heritage Experience, the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery and the 18th century Devonshire Dome, all before grabbing lunch at one of the well-established cafés and restaurants around the town. Browse a range of quirky independent shops in search of a gift to bring back home, or visit the fascinating Buxton Opera House offering exciting back stage tours to get a look behind the scenes of one of the UK’s finest examples of a Frank Matcham theatre. The lovely town of Buxton lies within the scenic landscapes of the Peak District National Park, within the wonderful county of Derbyshire. The town is known for its incredible thermal spas and many local landmarks and attractions that tell of the towns rich and exciting history. Complemented by a variety of local stores, as well as many quirky cafés, pubs and restaurants, this town has everything you could possibly need. Both Bakewell and Matlock can be reached within a pleasant drive and make for great days out, whilst the traditional town of Chesterfield rests slightly further afield.

    Easy walking distance in to Buxton.

    Very well equipped. The only minor problem we had was that of getting towels dried after showering - the heating is controlled remotely by Hive and not one of the shower room radiators could be made to come on! I did attempt to contact the owner but received no reply.
