Buckholt Stables is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped professional kitchen, and beautiful gardens. Guests enjoyed the privacy of individually designed rooms, the large jacuzzi, and the welcoming atmosphere created by the caretaker. The property is ideal for large groups and family celebrations, offering a mix of luxury and comfort in a serene location.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with spotless bedrooms and bathrooms. Only a few minor comments about half-used toiletry bottles and the need for better exterior cleaning slightly affect the score.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to lovely villages, with beautiful surroundings and good access to local attractions. However, some guests found it a bit difficult to find, which slightly impacts the score.
Guests report very comfortable beds and furnishings, with ample space for relaxation and socialising. Some issues with underfloor heating and a few maintenance niggles prevent a perfect score.
The facilities are generally excellent, with a professional kitchen, spacious dining area, and a large hot tub. However, several maintenance issues such as broken showers, flickering lightbulbs, and a non-fully functional jacuzzi have led to a slightly lower score.
While many guests mention thoughtful touches like welcome bottles of wine and well-equipped amenities, there is not enough consistent information about gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Thought it was a bit mean asking us to bring our own toilet rolls given the weekend cost £3,300. Also the catering person recommended in the listing didn't respond.
David
When you request any of these they are NOT available. To have to be packed up and out of the property on the day of departure by 09.00 hrs is a rush.
Martin
The bad point's are that the property is looking very tired it needs a good refurbish inside and out . As is the same with the inside and out side furniture looks very tired and needs either repaired or replaced. There has been a lack of money spent on this property and it shows , we expected better for the amount of money it costs. Wouldn't recommend. Martin
