Dene Court is a well-regarded cottage in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, praised for its high standard, comfort, and beautiful garden. The proximity to the beach and coastal walks is a highlight, along with the well-equipped kitchen and useful laundry/wetsuit room. The spaciousness and homeliness add to the relaxing experience, despite some minor maintenance issues and the steep walk from the beach.
The property is generally described as clean, especially upon arrival. However, one review mentioned finding dog hairs, suggesting room for improvement in the vacuuming process.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and coastal walks. The view over Mawgan Porth is appreciated, although the steep walk back from the beach is noted.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the homely feel. The spaciousness of the house contributes to the overall comfort.
Facilities like the outdoor shower, drying rack for wetsuits, and well-equipped kitchen are appreciated. However, there are comments about the need for a larger fridge, a car charger, and some maintenance issues, which slightly lower the score.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Mrs Richards
This is a wonderful house in a fabulous location. The view is spectacular , the house is located in a quiet and secluded area, perfect for us . Very comfortable and well equipped , we were a party of 6 related adults with a very enthusiastic dog, she loved the beach which is easily walkable and knew where it was after first visit . Only downside for us is that the fabulous garden is easily escaped by a beach loving dog which we managed by close supervision and fortunately she has good recall ,this needs to be considered when booking . Otherwise we had great fun with her playing ball in the lovely garden , this would not put me off booking again as we loved this spacious house and were blessed by amazing weather
Mr Thomas
A lovely house, very comfortable, especially the bedrooms and beds. Beautiful view over Mawgan Porth and a lovely garden. It is a steep climb up from the beach so those with mobility issues would be best taking the car to the car park. Plenty of room to park 3 cars.
Mr Naunton
A lovely house and a great place to stay
