Benefitting from private parking and allowing two pets, 3 Overcliff is an ideal seaside retreat for a family or a group of friends. Step inside to discover a contemporary and well-equipped kitchen/diner with plenty of room for preparing and cooking meals and an extendable dining room that will accommodate up to eight guests. The cosy sitting room has amazing views out to sea and on warm days you can throw the doors open and sit outside and enjoy meals on the lawned garden or patio terrace. On cooler evenings light the open fire and hunker down with a good book or a glass of wine. The master king-size bedroom is light and bright with amazing views out to sea. There are also two further bedrooms – a twin room with sea views and a zip/link twin that can be turned into a super-king on request – as well as a stylish family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Port Isaac is a picturesque village with narrow streets lined with pretty, whitewashed cottages that lead down to a sheltered harbour. Watch the fishing vessels head out early in the morning and return later in the day with their catch, which you can buy from the Platt to cook in your self-catering cottage or sample in the restaurants. Keen walkers can follow the South West Coast Path along the coastline in the direction of Tintagel or Polzeath – as well as the stunning views keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, and rare sea birds. Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
