Guests say

Cornerways in Carbis Bay is a well-loved holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, stunning sea views, and excellent location close to the beach and train station. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful touches, including welcome packs and spa passes. The property's cinema room is a highlight, offering additional entertainment for families and groups.

Most guests found Cornerways to be immaculately clean and bright, with high standards of cleanliness. However, a few guests reported issues with cleanliness, including unclean kitchenware and bedding, which suggests occasional lapses in the property's upkeep.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to Carbis Bay beach and the convenience of the nearby train station for easy access to St Ives. The quiet neighbourhood and stunning views contribute to its high rating.

Guests have found the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with a homely feel. Some guests mentioned issues with the central heating being too high and the cinema room seating being uncomfortable, but overall, the comfort level is regarded as very good.

The property is well-equipped with quality kitchenware, luxurious bed linen, and towels. However, some guests noted a lack of certain items such as teaspoons and grill pans, and maintenance issues with appliances like the dishwasher and TV. The inclusion of a cinema room is a notable positive aspect.

Guests have expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gestures such as welcome packs with scones, jam, cream, and bubbly. While these gifts have been well-received, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to availability and are not guaranteed for every stay.

All of this makes for an awful nights sleep. The rug in the lounge is filthy. The rest of the house is fine if a little dull in its decor. The location and views are great

Well equipped with super balcony. Great location near to beach and train station. Would definitely recommend. Only things that need sorting are:- The fridge and freezer in kitchen need to be secured in place as they tipped forward if you happen to lean on the door at all. The neighbour behind the property was extremely rude (not so easy to fix)!!

We love the house, garden and its location. Provides plenty of space for our family and the children love the cinema room. We have already made our reservation for next year.
