About this property

A smart coastal residence for style-conscious guests, Chy Kerris is a modern semi-detached house situated in the seaside resort of Carbis Bay and within a short stroll of its award-winning Blue Flag beach. Designed with couples, friends and families in mind, contemporary interiors are light and bright and there are tantalizing sea glimpses over the roof tops to St Ives Bay from the upper floor. It sits in a quiet residential location which is convenient for the coastal footpath, white sands, sparkling seas and cosmopolitan St Ives with its tempting array of bijou shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, including the famous Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Return from days out to the comfort of this sophisticated and spacious holiday home. Three steps lead to the entrance and the ground floor accommodation which oozes blissful seaside calm. Head from the hall into a generous L-shaped open plan living room. Plump settees, vibrant cushions, good art, big screen TV, books and games sit at one end and a kitchen and dining space equipped with all the mod cons sit at the other. French doors open from the living room onto an enclosed garden which is a real suntrap and sheltered from ocean breezes. Well screened from view, it is landscaped with decking, paved patio and exotic plants in pots and there is a picnic bench for alfresco meals and sundowners. Head upstairs to a family sized bathroom and three chic bedrooms furnished with super comfy beds, luxurious bed linens and ample storage. There is off road parking for two cars. Carbis Bay is a highly desirable holiday destination with a good range of local amenities including a shop, pub and restaurants. Come to surf and swim on world-class beaches, enjoy great walks right on your doorstep or tee–off at West Cornwall Golf Club. Follow the scenic southwest coastal footpath or hop on the scenic branch line to St Ives. Chy Kerris is ideal for breaks in summer or winter with gas central heating and double glazing throughout. The luxury of the location combined with boutique touches and an informal vibe will ensure a wonderful holiday experience.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country.

Lovely house, very homely and comfortable with everything you need for a stay. A nice welcome pack on arrival. We would 100% stay here again

All bed linen ,towels etc was provided which was great and in very good clean condition. I was though very disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage ,it did appear that no-one had checked the property before the next visitors arrived , we had to clean out the fridge due to spilt liquid in the bottom, wipe down the bannister as this was dirty and very sticky. Cobwebs hanging in all rooms ,dust on door ledges and across the top of the head boards ( not just a weeks dust) For the amount of money that my family and i paid i feel the property should of been checked over thoughly to ensure it was all in a clean condition.
