Guests say

Moonbeams is a spacious cottage with stunning views and a great location in St. Ives, Cornwall. Guests appreciate the ample space, en-suite bedrooms, and thoughtful touches like beach towels and welcome biscuits. While the property's position and comfort are highly praised, some maintenance issues such as balcony repairs and clearer rubbish disposal instructions are suggested for an even better experience.

The property has received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While no specific complaints about the interior cleanliness were mentioned, comments about cobwebs, dirty glass on patios, and full recycle bins suggest room for improvement in outdoor and communal areas.

The location is consistently praised for its stunning views and proximity to the beach and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for a memorable holiday in West Cornwall.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with spacious rooms and en-suite bathrooms. The provision of beach towels and a well-equipped kitchen contribute to a comfortable stay, though minor suggestions for additional items like foil and cling film are noted.

While the facilities are generally good, several reviews point out maintenance issues such as broken balcony tiles, blocked drains, and the need for better lighting in the dining room. These issues indicate that the facilities could benefit from attention and repairs.

Guests mention thoughtful gestures such as the provision of beach towels and welcome biscuits. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than a standard offering.

The floor layout and views are stunning. However, the property is in dire need of maintenance. It looked very "tired" with cobwebs and dirty glass on patios, rotten window frames and cracked tiles (hallways etc) and uneven paving to patios). Some mastic to showers etc was mouldy.

The location and views are exceptional, however the attention to detail, maintenance, and health and safety leave a lot to be desired. Certainly not worth the money we paid for our stay. Will be writing with issues, supported with photographic evidence, and suggestions to improve this property.
