If you love walking the South West Coast Path can be joined nearby, it leads to Zenor and Hayle Estuary in the other direction, this cliff side walk is an enjoyable way to exercise while searching for local wildlife including seals, dolphins and migrating birds, you can walk to Carbis Bay via the cliff side path or for a relaxing alternative hop on the St Ives scenic railway, it hugs the coast all the way and the views are outstanding, the blue flag awarded Carbis Bay Beach is life guarded so perfect for water sports, or just stroll along its golden shores as the sun sets.

If you fancy a romantic night out then treat yourself to a show at the Minack, this open air theatre near Land’s End, is dramatically carved out of a cliff edge with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, alternatively watching the sun set with St Michael’s Mount in the background, this majestic castle is set on its own island near Penzance and is just mesmerizing, maybe you love Poldark and finding the hidden coves, harbours and tin mines featured in the BBC TV series will excite you, or exploring Cornwall’s fabulous gardens including the canopy walk way at the Eden Project, near St Austell, will be the memory which will live forever.
