The cottage has everything you need, and the area around it has many hidden gems, especially the donuts at the canalside farm shop. Mel and George are wonderful hosts and give you a warm welcome. See our review from last year and we have already booked for next year.

Mel , the owner, was soon round to welcome us with eggs, milk, biscuits, tomatoes and coffee,as the bread wasnât available. Lovely and warm on the evening even though the weather was cold, windy and wet.
Dianne
A very warm welcome on arrival and lovely views of the Staffordshire country side as you relax at the end of the day. A lot of thought and an eye for detail has gone into it. The only downside for us was, that as the weather was so good, we didnât need to light the log burner!
