The property is spotlessly clean and tidy. Itâs spacious and has everything you require for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable and it was nice and cosy too. Good location, 20 minute walk into town. Joyce and Paul checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Will use again. Thanks for having us.

The kitchen was well equipped with all you could need to assist your stay and the beds were very comfy, so a good night's sleep was had to recharge and go exploring again the following day. A home away from home, with thoughful and appreciated welcoming "goodies". The owners Paul and Joyce, made us feel very welcome, they lived next door and were on hand if there was an issue. As stated the cottage was a 10-15minute walk into Uttoxeter where you had easy access to bus and train links. We never used our car after arriving and just used the bus or train. The buses operated a £2 single journey, and we did our own bus trip, which took us from Uttoxeter to Chesterfield, with some stops in between. It is a very beautiful area. If using the train, it was less than 25 mins to Derby and under an hour to Nottingham. I would totally recommend this property.
