We've been to quite a few cottages over the years & this has got to be in our top 10. This was our second visit, very relaxing week, in a lovely quiet village, walks from the door or only a few miles up the road Wykeham Woods plenty of walks.

The village is close to Scarborough which is perfect for stocking up on supplies. Matthew welcomed us on arrival and was on hand if we needed any advise, and thank you for our bubbly, very welcome after our drive.

Although the pub was closed we were offered drinks every evening which was a lovely gesture. The bed was very comfy, kitchen well equipped for self catering. Coffee machine was a very nice touch. If anything I would just say there isnât any signal and the WiFi for us didnât work at all really. But we thoroughly enjoyed staying there :) will be back if in the area
