The location was lovely: it was quiet, brilliant for watching birds and just beautiful, as well as being fairly central for lots of interesting places. Although the weather left a bit to be desired, we really enjoyed our week.

It had all the home comforts, beautifully furnished and well equipped. A perfect location for visits to Whitby, Scarborough,York, Pickering and a stones throw away from Grosmont and Goathland if you love the steam trains. The weather was kind to us so we were lucky to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside from the raised patio. We visited Coopers Barn in 2016 and so glad we were able to return. Definitely one of our favourite places.

The views from the cottage are great and it is in a very good location to explore either by car or walking to Egton, with two good pubs, and along the Esk Valley. We will certainly look to return again ASAP.
