All the facilities you need to have an enjoyable trip.David, Hazel and family made us more than welcome and went out their way to help us saving us a couple of trips to the shops.Fantastic location, we made some good memories with the kids that they will remember for years to come. The games room made out of the old barn is an excellent touch and we enjoyed our thrashing at table tennis by David.We've been on many trips via cottages and hoseasons and this one has been the best. This is because of how welcome the owners made us feel and how engaging they were with our kids. And also how much fun we all had in the cow boy cabin.Thanks for having us, hope to be back again in the future.

      We only stayed one night although had booked for longer. The chap who ran the place was nice and friendly, and the bedding/accommodation was clean. Unfortunately the bed wasn't comfortable, the living areas were very dark inside (no windows in the kitchen area) and the whole place cried out for some TLC. The outside areas were weedy and overgrown and it all seemed very tired and neglected. The photos look good but I would say they are very old pictures. The kitchen is pretty basic too. If you were a group of walkers in the area, used to hostels and looking for budget accommodation for a night or two you'd probably find it acceptable.

      Our stay at Old Stable Cottage was great,it was spotlessly clean and warm with everything you need in the kitchen from air fryer, large fridge freezer, washing machine too we could not fault it.Beautiful views and amazing sun sets and regular visits not far from your garden are the cows and their calf's also sheep . David the owner was friendly and very helpful and was affailable if you needed him,we are so Great full for his help and advice as we were having problems with our car,he recommended a garage and called them for us,and it was repaired.Thank you David,we would love to return again.We highly recommend.

      Lovely friendly family, David, Linda, Hazel and Jason. Working farm, peaceful, lovely views and the sound of the farm animals is so relaxing. We have been here quite a few times and also stayed in 2 of their other properties over the last 7 years. Lots of places to visit and plenty of pubs around the area. Dogs welcome and they have a dedicated forest which is enclosed so you can let your dog run free. They also have a games barn with lots of things for adults to play as well as the kids. Highly recommend.

We had teenagers with us who loved the hot tub, games room and animals.Beds were very comfortable. Only small niggle that could improve the place was locks on bathroom doors. And internal bedroom door wouldn't stay shut.Other than that place was brilliant and the hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful
