The cottage is perfectly located to enjoy the fishing, watersports activities and sailing available at Llyn Tegid, or for something more adrenaline fuelled there is the National Whitewater Centre, just a short drive away. The area is also great for walking, with some fantastic routes from the cottage and cycling and mountain biking at Coed y Brenin, the renowned mountain bike centre a little further away. Further afield, why not visit the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog and take the world-famous Ffestiniog narrow gauge steam train to the harbour town of Porthmadog?
