What our customers say about their holidays

    • Sammy - Verified booking

Myself, husband and dog had a such a great week at Fistral Drift.

Loved the communication from Jane & Michelle via email & what's app with all the info we needed to access the property and about the surrounding area etc. We parked in the Council car park 5 minutes walk from the property and Jane paid for our weekly Rover permit which was fantastic, permit can be used across other certain car parks but we didn't use our car the whole stay. Garden was lovely, our dog spent most of his time lazing out there & we enjoyed the views across to Fistral Beach from the bench seat! Location was great for us, 10 minute walk to Fistral Beach & coastal path or 10 minutes in the other direction to shops, pubs etc. They have thought of everything in the property, firstly a fabulous welcome pack on arrival which included tea bags, coffee pods, cider, biscuits, chocolate & even dog treats! Also milk in the fridge for us, hand washes, kitchen really well equipped (stayed in many properties where its pretty basic) and the bathroom is lovely with an amazing shower! Honestly they have literally thought of everything at Fistral Drift & I could go on & on so finally will just say I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow - what an amazing apartment!

Really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper, plenty of hangers and crockery/cutlery. My particular favourite was the light-up make-up mirror. Apartment was a good size, with a super king bed and dual headed shower. Outside space was excellent with outdoor seating, barbeque and a shed with deck chairs. Location good - 5 min walk to Fistral beach and 10 - 15 mins to town centre where there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Communication with Jane, the owner, was faultless with clear instructions on parking and key collection and contact numbers. Also lots of information about the apartment and surrounding area. Would love to stay here again.

We’ve just returned yesterday from a weeks stay and we couldn’t fault the place.

The place was perfect and in the best location for beaches in Newquay. On the second day we had a power cut and I text the owner Jane who came down within 10 minutes and sorted it. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay and added bonuses including body boards to use, a bbq for a night in and a great coffee machine for those early mornings. The place was so clean, parking is right around the corner and the little basket of complimentary goodies was lovely! Next time we return to Cornwall we will definitely be booking this place. A hidden gem in Newquay. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We know the village very well and have passed the property many times on dog walks. The view to the sea from the balcony are exactly as described, a perfect place to watch the sun set with a glass of wine after a busy day on one of the many local beaches. The village has everything you need on hand from the pubs, serving lovely home cooked food to the bakery and takeaways (if you don't fancy cooking). The SPAR for a convenience shop and garage for petrol are handy. The dog is well catered for with open fields just through the garden gate.

We have just returned home from an amazing 7-day break in Newquay, staying at the 5-star apartment that was Fistral Drift.

We were lucky enough to see this gem of a place when it was first advertised following its total refurb earlier this Summer. Everything is shiny and new, very high spec and tastefully decorated. Amazing rain shower. Fabulous outdoor space and the perfect location. Our host (Jane) was great, easy to communicate with if needed, giving clear instructions re directions and the amenities etc. There was a lovely welcome hamper on our arrival which was a lovely touch. We already planning our 2022 trip back there. Andrew C, West London.
