What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Sandra Brown - Verified booking

A wonderful cosy and beautifully renovated cottage, felt very comfortable there. Excellent location for shops, pubs, restaurants and the wonderful coastal path. Bwthyn Clyd is a beautifully renovated character cottage in St. David's. It is cosy and welcoming and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The location of the cottage is perfect for reaching all the amenities of this small city. Coffee shops, pubs and restaurants are all close by, as is the glorious coastal path. Walking the coastal path in either direction from St. David's is a must and nearby Solva, Tenby and Fishguard are all worth a visit. A wonderful relaxing week spent in this lovely area of Wales. Booking and contact with Powells Cottage Holidays was hassle free and we would not hesitate to book through this cottage company again. Thanks, we had a great time.. Sandra and Derek Brown The cottage was really lovely, one of the best we have stayed in.

This house was a wonderful starting point and super cosy place for sleeping, living and relaxing in between all the amazing little walks, hikes and trips we did to see the area. We really enjoyed the biodiversity along the coastline and everywhere around and the humid air and ocean breeze made our entire stay extra good. It was nice to stay here where the details and interior, woolen patterns and nice art seem to be from the area, which we really appreciated. We would love to come back! thanks!

Fabulous cottage - everything we needed, clean + cosy, really well placed for everywhere. Great to have the parking permit - thank you - which we used in Fishguard as well as Quickwell Hill. We visited Milford Marina, Pembroke Castle, the Marine Walk in Fishguard and visited the old town. Lovely clifftop walks round Caerfai, Porthclais, Abermawr. Topped off by seeing sightseeing seals at Pwllderi. Beautiful weather and a great break. Thank you!

Ideal location as in the middle of St Davids so hardly have to walk to the pubs, cafes and shops with a bus stop right outside if you don't want to take the car. Boat trip to see dolphins was fantastic, coastal walks with stunning views, sound café do great burgers, try the oggies in St Davids, Bishops palace was a great place to visit. It was easy to book and communication was good.

We have loved our stay here at this cosy, tranquil cottage even though the weather hasn't been the best, it has never dampened our stay. We have made the most of the dry weather with visiting and walking the wonderful coastline and stunning beaches, frequented the lovely pubs and enjoyed relaxing by the fire in this cosy place. Already looking forward to coming back.
