Had a lovely break in Little Argham Cottage, Rob & Carol were very welcoming and came out to greet us as soon as we arrived.
The site itself, although busy with other guests, was quiet & was within easy driving distance of Brid, Filey, Flamborough Head etc. There were a couple of dog-friendly pubs nearby in Rudston & Hunmanby but booking beforehand is recommended. The cottage itself was very well-equipped, a "home-from-home" as another guest had written and we soon settled in. The lounge seating was comfortable when we were sat around at night, with a great selection of books to read & there was ample space around the dining table. The outside space was good for sitting out when the sun made an appearance. As a group of five adults, it was good to have two toilets in the accommodation. The only reason I gave 3 "faces" for facilities was that I thought maybe the twin bedroom could be configured as a double bedroom which is probably preferable for a group of adults, with the bunk beds being suitable for either adults or children. Also, perhaps have 2 definite sets of house keys in case members of the party want to go their separate ways at various times. Just two little suggestions which in no way spoiled our experience of the cottage. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing break in a lovely part of the world.

We loved the cottage.
It was quiet and clean. The kitchen was the best stocked of any holiday cottage I have ever stayed in. The furniture was comfortable. The owner was so welcoming - we felt right at home. And the cottage is situated well for visiting the area in general. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our two big dogs - we never worried about them out there at all. If I could change anything I would: add a couple of footrests in the lounge for loafing about, and; consider adding a runner or mat in the corridor (just because one of the dogs is very wary of slippy floors and she was a bit nervous there). I will definitely recommend the place to others. My partially sighted friend found the layout brilliant for her - especially nice touches like well placed handrails and the lack of clutter. Hubby & I , & daughter & hubby ,(,ages 45 to 74) had super holiday at Owl cottage.
We loved the property inside & out, very spacious, everything we. needed & more was provided. We liked the area where the cottage was situated & found lots of lovely places to visit. We went to Spurn Point, Withernsea, Hornsea( visiting award winning chippy) also Bempton Cliffs RSPB, Bridlington ,Filey & Beverley. ,& The Humber Bridge. We had a brilliant holiday, some meals cooked in cottage ,& other meals eaten out including sitting out by table in garden in sunshine with drinks including the wine. Very comfy indoors too playing games & watching good sized TV occasionally. Comfortable bedrooms & lounge. Bathroom ,,& kitchen facilities excellent too. Super hols.. If come to East Yorkshire again would love to stay at Owl Cottage again. Highly recommended!!!

We had a lovely week at Owl Cottage.
It is very spacious and comfortable with a very large garden which my 2 year old grandson loved. He also loved the huge windows which gave him great views of the tractors going by. We are nature lovers who enjoy walking and found lots of good places to walk close by. Spurn Point is definitely worth a visit with a lovey beach and great views. There were swallows nesting in the open garage which we really enjoyed watching flying in and out whilst sat outside. Sadly didn't see any owls though. The cottage had most things we needed apart from a bread knife and the only large cutting knife had the tip missing but theses are only minor niggles. We would definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Very easy for key collection, friendly and approachable owners, nothing too complex.
Property was very inviting, well designed, ideal for people with mobility issues, All rooms were adequately furnished, Kitchen was nice size with sufficient seating for dining, living room ideal size with seating both ends of room, some for watching tv and some for reading.Good size garden, ideal for children to run about in,ideal place for exploring East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, Also only just over 1 hour from York. Would highly recommend a stay. Village is friendly with superb butchers and bakery and local shop which again can recommend. Also pub about 1 mile away. Would definitely stay again.
