The holiday cottage was beautiful inside and out.
We were a family 5, 2 adults and 3 children. The house was very clean, was fully equipped with everything. You do not need to bring anything!! Craig has literally thought of everything. When we arrived, we were greeted with milk, teabags coffee and a newspaper and cake. He asked us if we needed anything else and was prepared to bring what we needed but we were ok. He came to see us in the evening to show us round the cottage. He even went out of his way to learn a bit of sign language as my mum and my 12 yr old are profoundly deaf and this made their day. The cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location and is not far from all the attractions. Our favourite place was beadnell beach, it's paradise. kids enjoyed doing nature/ animal hunt in the garden. The washing machine and dryer is a god send, luckily the weather was on our side most days so was able to peg it out. Thank you Craig it was lovely to meet you and thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. We will back again.

This cottage was beautiful. The location was peaceful and quiet, whilst still being close to lovely towns, villages and beaches. It was very well equipped, and the furnishings were of a high quality. It even had Sky TV in case the weather was bad! Although we were very lucky with the weather. There was a lovely welcome pack to greet us on arrival, and a white horse looking over our fence at the back garden of the house. The local people were friendly and one of them recommended that we did a walk from Low Newton to Footballer’s Hole beach, which was a lovely bracing walk to a lovely beach that could only be accessed by walking to it, and not by car. The walk from nearby Embleton bay to Craster and back was also a really nice walk, with lunch at The Jolly Fisherman in Craster. All in all, this property comes highly recommended. Would definitely book again.

Had a lovely stay in a beautiful cottage with a gorgeous garden! Spent many evenings enjoying the sun and wonderful views of sheep and horses, and had a BBQ out in the patio. A lovely furnished, clean cottage that we would definitely return to! We would recommend Billy Shiel’s Farne Island Boat Trips which sail from Seahouses. Our trip was fantastic and we were lucky enough to see many bottle-nose dolphins as well as seals and sea birds. It is not a trip to miss! Having tried all three fish and chip shops in Seahouses we would recommend Neptune’s Fish Bar – Delicious! Days out in Bamburgh and Alnwick were also enjoyed and numerous visits to Wyndenwell Ice Cream Parlour/Cafe in Bamburgh which is one of the best we have tried!! Overall we have enjoyed our stay, it has been a lovely and relaxed holiday! Thank you!

The moment that we walked through the door of Fuchsia Cottage we were so impressed – it exceeded expectation on every level – total perfection! Everything we needed was provided. We have had a fabulous week exploring Northumberland in Autumn. We have enjoyed coastal walks at Low Newton, Bamburgh and Craster. We loved visiting Cragside, Alnwick Gardens and Berwick Upon Tweed. However the best times were spent in front of the fire in this fabulous cottage – enjoying a glass of wine! Sorry to be leaving but we hope to come again soon. The hamper on arrival was a lovely surprise treat too. Thank you to Bob, Sarah and Coquet Cottages for a smoothly organised stay and a wonderful Cottage.

This is a lovely, peaceful home in a quiet village with a large garden, off-road parking and easy access to the coast.
Craig, the owner, is very helpful and friendly, and easy to contact if needed. On arrival Craig guided us around the cottage and advised on use of appliances etc. As a couple with no children we found the cottage roomy and comfortable with everything that we needed available. (There were items of equipment available to keep children safe if needed, such as stair gates, high chair etc; Craig has thought of everything). The county of Northumberland is beautiful with numerous opportunities for seeing wildlife and nature, walking along sandy beaches and finding little coves and even castles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cra-an-ge Cottage and would stay there again.
