What our customers say about their holidays

The property and grounds are even better than the photos suggest, don’t be put off by the nearby industry because your a million miles from that once your at the place.

The rooms are spacious & decorated to a high standard & add to this a well equipped modern kitchen & a superb church feeling dinning area, there’s a great choice of bedrooms with different bed arrangements & toilets etc with comfy large beds with plenty of bedding etc. Outside there is a beautiful kept lawn & grounds & also a large outside dinning table & water features, behind the property there’s a wood to walk & explore or walk the dog , then back indoors there’s beds provided to let them relax. The owner Neil is very welcoming & nothing seems an effort for him & is always willing to help you & will do anything to make your stay an enjoyable one & is also the most dog friendly rental I’ve ever come across. I genuinely couldn’t pick a fault with the property or the owner.

It was my 50th birthday celebration with my friends we all enjoyed our stay so much at Woodbottom Farm.

The house was very spacious and the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and big. The kitchen & dining room were lovely decorated and big, they need to be for the food and alcohol(mainly the alcohol). Could have done with a bigger fridge and some cooking utensils and a cutlery draw. We did the walk to the Folly Dolly Falls which only took 20 mins, so we carried on to the town to visit the pubs. We got a taxi back and was surprised at the low cost for a mini bus it was £6. Neil & Sharon were lovely hostess so thank you for letting my friends in a little early to decorate the house with my face and birthday banners. Thank you to them both and their lovely holiday home.

I don’t know where to start to be honest.

Blown away and perfect!!!! I was brought here for my birthday by my partner and surprised by my friends on my arrival. My first thoughts where what a beautiful home and extremely clean and so well equipped. Neil & Sharon, what lovely, fantastic hosts and unbelievable entertainers!!! To my surprise my friends had booked Neil & Sharon for the night time entertainment and my god I am so grateful. A night to remember for sure and something I will cherish forever. I could not recommend this beautiful holiday home enough. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will without a doubt be back!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We enjoyed a wonderful week over Christmas at Woodbottom Farm.

Neil and Sharon were super hosts and very helpful before, during and after the stay. The house itself was spacious, yet cosy and well appointed. The bedrooms were especially good; each a very large space allowing our group of 10 plenty of room and flexibility. Despite the weather not being on our side whilst we were there, we enjoyed lovely walks in the adjacent woods and a great morning at nearby Beaumont Park. A particular highlight of the holiday was large living room with the open fire - a perfect way to spend winter evenings.

We had the most amazing time staying at Woodbottom Farm.

It was clean, spacious and very well presented. Some lovely quirky touches like a grand piano in the downstairs bedroom, music paraphernalia dotted around and an impressive feature wall in the dining room. The outside space is also beautifully kept although unfortunately the weather meant we didn't get much chance to use it. Our hosts couldn't have been friendlier and gave us a mini concert on the Saturday night which made our stay. Would most definitely recommend!
