Looking back on my holiday at Cwtch ar y mor was a big catch.

On entering the property the appearance was appalling,it needed maintainance.I spent £831 pounds for a week stay which wasn't worth it. The inside of the property was homely except for the beds which were very uncomfortable and squeaky. The sofa was also a big let down. (tough like board) I booked the home because of the hot tub because I thought it could be of remedy to my body. The area where the tub sits needed proper cleaning as the window and area was all gross from build up moulds. The tub was full of too much chlorine that makes us ill.Only been in hot tub twice. It was pointed out to me that the tub would be half emptied then topped up again with chlorine for next visitors, makes me wonder. The owner was quite nice though. Future reference, I would visit again not at that price and only if owners do a proper entry clean up, fully drained tub and keep the tub area mould free. Good property, quite area and friendly people.

      Had a lovely stay here.

Would definitely stay again. Did find random hair around the place, but was no big issue. Bath looked a little unclean so didn’t bother using. Hoover needs replacing as the suction doesn’t work well at all, Knives aren’t sharp and need replacing also, very difficult to cut with, I would perhaps bring my own next time with keeping this in mind. Pans to cook with aren’t non stick, they do thankfully clean up easy though. However it was a lovely little break. close to shops and beach. About 20 minutes drive if you want Asda etc or premier shop literally 3 minutes walk just at the bottom of the road, dog friendly area including pubs. Local takeaways are great too if you fancy a one off from cooking. Park just across the road. Honestly besides the few little things that need looking at (don’t let that put you off) it is a lovely place and I would definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I enjoyed the stay, the property could do with better cooking equipment as it was catering for 6.

no frying pan although there was a saute pan. We took our own air fryer, it may be it something that could be added in the future. I could not find a house hand book explaining rubbish recycling days and expectations of local council (but i may have over looked it). we were warned about the bath not a problem as shower was good. Garden steps where difficult for my elderly mother. a handrail would have made this easier and safer. the garden was great for the dogs and they loved it. my wife appeared to have moved in to the hot tub for the duration of the holiday - so I can honestly say it was brilliant. The estate is really nice and people are very friendly. loads of places to walk dogs they appear welcome everywhere. The area by lifeboat station has beautiful views. easy access to shops, takeaways and if no car a train station. would recommend

We had a lovely stay at this holiday home.

The hose was clean but basic. We were meant to have 6 of us staying and ended up with just four of us. However there is only enough cups plates cutlery for just 6 people. I tend to cook meals and this meant there were no additional plates or bowls for cooking or putting on the table. There was no potato peeler or potato masher and the knives all need sharpening. There was only the minimum amount of all kitchen utensils. Towels were provided but none were full size bath towels , the biggest size was hand towel size, luckily we brought our own bath sheets. This house was perfect in terms of location, I have mobility problems and it was ideal for me and the minor gripes would not stop us coming again, In fact we will be booking for next year, we just would bring some extras with us.
