A perfect stay!
This holiday cottage is fantastic. Everything is finished to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable, along with being very accommodating to both us and our four legged friends. The owners, Brian and Sarah, were fantastic and always on hand if we had any questions or needed recommendations of local places to visit. The cottage is really well situated to be within driving distance of many local attractions, but is also in a lovely quiet and secluded farm setting giving the best of both worlds. There is a Tesco superstore and petrol station a convenient 15 minute drive away, if you happen to like to cook meals at the cottage - which the kitchen was very well equipped for. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were provided on arrival, and if staying with dogs, water bowls, a few dog treats and even a dog bed for use during your stay. The courtyard area outside the property is ideal for dogs as it is enclosed, but also a nice little sun trap should you choose to sit outside and enjoy a beverage or two on a sunny day. A dog waste bin is also provided making tidying up after yourself nice and easy. The internet connection was always speedy and reliable, so is ideal for those who may need to do a little work etc whilst away. All in all we had a fantastic time here and would happily stay again! Highly recommended! Thank you for a great stay Brian and Sarah

Thereâs so much I could say about the Farmhouse!
Iâll start with the space - I was blown away with the size of the property and the space we had outside - it far surpassed my expectations. We had our dog with us who loved the garden space to be able to run around and after the first couple of days had gained confidence to go for a wander on her own! Very peaceful and private and very rural! Fixtures and fittings in the property were of a high standard and loved the coffee machine which has resulted in me ordering the same model for our home! Welcome pack was excellent and very much appreciated - best Iâve ever had from a cottages stay in the UK. Wood fired hot tub was also brilliant and with plenty of wood to keep the temperature where you want it - ticked the box for the pyromaniac in me! Gas fired BBQ was also used by us a number of times during our stay which was a great addition. Hosts (Kitty and Paddy) were very welcoming and great hosts. Only advice Iâd give is if planning a trip south from Rezare, do not turn directly left from the Farmhouse entrance as the lanes in that direction seem endless and narrow - if youâre not confident driving in lanes, head right and join the main road by the Springer Spaniel pub. Watch out for the horse flies just after any rain - they are very bitey!

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting.
The Granary has everything you could need for cottage holiday with plenty of kitchen pots/pans/utensils etc and there was shortbread biscuits, tea & coffee waiting for us on arrival along with essentials like soap & toilet rolls in the bathrooms. Ideally situated for visiting North Cornwall and Devon. Plenty of places within easy reach including Newquay, Padstow, Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle. My daughter even had her 1st surf lesson at Newquay. Several National Trust places nearby, would highly recommend a trip to Lanhydrock. Carnglaze Caverns is a good wet weather option and if you like puzzles then definitely worth a visit to Hidden Valley Discovery Park which is just a few minutes drive. We met wild ponies when driving over Bodmin Moor which were very inquisitive and friendly, not very wild! Thereâs a lovely walk down the footpath outside the cottage, across the stream and back round via the road. We had such a wonderful week and would highly recommend The Granary for anyone looking for a place to stay. Brian & Sarah were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, large and comfy bedrooms and beds, great shower facilities, hot tub a real bonus.
Kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was fantastic thank you. Shame we couldnât see the stunning views the other side of the road from the house, but garden area great for kids. The photos on the website showed different furniture layout but still enough comfy seats for all. One issue we did have is lack of hanging space for clothes and shortage of mirrors in the bedrooms. The one in the green bathroom is hung so high I couldnât see in it as I am only 5â 1â. I think the details should mention the current building work next door, even though really nice and quiet workmen. Also the fact the cleaners room is attached to the property, with cars and staff pulling onto the drive early each morning and putting on washing machines. Led to some minor invasion of privacy, and would have liked some prior warning. However, none of the above would prevent us returning or recommending to others as we had a wonderful week, the owners are lovely and helpful and the house is our favourite of all we have stayed in over the years.

Cottage was peaceful, clean, and well equipped with wonderful views.
The owners were friendly and on hand in case of any problems. Our only one was that at first we couldn't get Wi-Fi but it was soon sorted. If you didn't fancy going far there's a lovely walk down to the river, or we found a stroll round the village after supper enjoyable - the church has a wonderful graveyard with stones going back to the 1700s. There's so much to do quite close. Both Dartmoor and Bodmin, but the beaches are also not far - although we were there for Moor walking really so didn't get to the coast. We did visit the Otter Sanctuary and Davidstow Airfield Museum, both we would highly recommend. Our four night stay was just perfect and we would highly recommend the property. OK is this too good to be true? Here we go then I've found a moan ....... The very hard British Isles Jigsaw has a corner piece missing!!!!!!!
