It's not how you described, it's what you did not !
On the pictures it was so decieving,as it showed a shingle driveway, which we thought was somewhere to walk our little dog ,also having to park opposite the house, in a dirt layby on a main road 60 miles an hour, was not practical as I and my partner have mobility issues!very dangerous ,we assumed when you said it had a gas hob it would have an oven ! Never have booked if it was mentioned,also microwave was not the same as pictures, so tiny! You also said road noise but did not mention the fast road right outside, also it is not dog friendly, unless you had a enclosed garden, or patio, we have not been out for 3 years,I have only been out of hospital for 3 weeks due to pneumonia! and it was going to be a quiet time away, but this cottage broke my heart on my birthday!!! We only stayed for less than 30 minutes, and spent all of our money, very much upset and disappointed, in the future describe as it is and do not deceive anyone else, would now call on you to do the right thing and refund us at least some of the cost, will never go with Sykes again ,worst experience ever,it's not what you said it is about what you did not say! about the place! Very pleased with cottage.
Unfortunately I picked the wettest week on record however we were lovely and warm in the cottage. The flooring was ideal as when we brought our dogs in soaking wet we could dry them off in the sun room. I couldn't believe the size of the house. We seemed to be opening doors to yet another room so if you want chill out time on your own it was no problem. The garden was absolutely perfect, pity due to weather conditions we couldn't get out there but the views were gorgeous. Also garden very safe for dogs, and plenty of room to park the car. Very big bathroom, useful second toilet, good sized bedrooms, lovely completely rural location, but on our walks met and chatted with all the locals. Must do's: walk to the lighthouses and nature reserve, dinner at The Anchor in Sutton Bridge ( we had fantastic carvery on Wed night for £7.50!!), Kings Lynn, Norfolk Lavender Farm and Sandringham Country Park all worth a visit. Would def book this cottage again, oh and by the way they even supply dog bowls. Very doggy friendly.

The semidetached 3 bedroom house is situated absolutely in the middle of nowhere.
Surrounded by fields amazing views. Perfect for a quiet week. We stayed end of April. So quiet maybe no so in farming season. Itâs a lovely well equipped house. Everything you need to feel home from home. Bathroom downstairs but lovely and big. Towels were soft and fluffy. Water hot. The bedroom we only stayed in the main one. Mattress very soft and comfy. The floors are not carpeted so I would recommend bringing slippers with you. The enclosed garden is secure for your dog to be safe. The WiFi was perfectly fine for us we watched Netflix no bother. We used as a base and went to Sandringham, Kingâs Lynn, Heacham and Hunstanton. Also we walked our little dog each evening down the lane to the house. I would recommend to stay here. We really enjoyed it.

We had a very warm welcome, with a pot of tea and Lincolnshire Plum Bread and butter put out for us.
The cottage is cosy and spotlessly clean with all the equipment that we needed in the kitchen. The bed is firm and there is plenty of drawer/wardrobe space to unpack everything into. It has a nice big bathroom with a large walk in shower. We don't fish, but enjoyed a walk around the lake and the fish looked rather large to my untrained eyes. The whole area is beautifully maintained and it's far enough away from civilisation for those who wish peace and quiet, but near enough for a short drive to get to where you need to be. Richard and Mary-Anne were friendly and kind and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a great break at this wonderful cottage from the moment we arrived to find some lovely welcome goodies, to the moment we left, knowing already that we will be back.
The cottage itself is clean, spacious, comfortable, and incredibly quiet, which is just what we wanted. Even when the weather turned particularly cold, there was plenty in the area to keep us busy and entertained. We'd recommend the walk from the Peter Scott lighthouse, RSPB Frampton Marshes and Titchwell, Castle Rising, and King's Lynn as places worth a visit. For food, a standout was Samuel's Family Farm Shop & Butchers. We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to an opportunity to come back and visit in warmer months.
