What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Hampson - Verified booking

This was our second time at this property and that reflects the fact that we really can’t imagine anywhere better for a multi-generation family holiday. The large, open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is ideal for keeping an eye on the children whilst preparing meals or just sitting down together to eat or play games. It makes a great dance floor too! The layout of the bedrooms is also very good and enables different families or different generations to have their own private space with a good degree of separation in what are effectively different ‘wings’ of the property. The gardens are very extensive and ideal for games of hide and seek, football or frisbee. But perhaps best of all are the hot tub and outside dining areas. The hot tub can be used in all weathers and at any time of year and our children and grandchildren spent many happy hours in there both at the beginning and end of the day. The location of the property provides an ideal base for visiting Padstow and the Camel Trail or for exploring what we consider to be the loveliest part of Cornwall for beaches and coastal walks. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage in a very good location. It was lovely and clean (smelt amazing!), the kitchen was well equipped and the décor lovely and modern. The garden was sunny most of the day but shadier in the evening. Hot tub was great and nice and sheltered tucked away in the corner. The local beach is only a 5 minute drive away (you have to pay for parking at between certain hours (suggest paying on the app before leaving the cottage as there isn't much signal at the beach). We had a lovely lunch at the Cornish Arms (you can walk there through the caravan park) and great fish and chips from Fryer Tuck. Padstow Farm Shop was good for meat for the BBQ. Easy to travel to visit nearby beaches and towns. Overall we had a lovely week and would definitely return.

This house was absolutely stunning, the property was spacious, clean and it had everything you need in a house such as washing up facilities, tea towels, toilet roll, towels, washing machine, tumble dryer, you name it, it had it. The outside area was just as amazing, the gardens were beautiful and there was so much space for the children to play. There was plenty of seating areas to take in the incredible views. We loved this house so much, the owners were lovely and Cornish Horizons were extremely helpful throughout the booking process and sending updates about our holiday and what we needed to know. Thank you to everyone for making our family holiday a really enjoyable experience.

A lovely cottage in a great location for walking to the numerous coves and beaches. It's close to a good number of decent places to eat - which was high on our list! The cottage is clean and tidy and spacious. We brought our dogs; the layout with a secure garden was perfect, the location great for walks straight from the cottage and most eateries were dog friendly. We had a very pleasant week and definitely recommend.

Wonderful cottage with ample space and excellent facilities. We stayed as a big family with three kids and everyone was catered for. The hot tub is a lovely addition- as is the large, secure garden for the dogs! Really comfortable lounge, loads of seating. Great location for the nearby beaches and just a 10 min drive to Padstow. Loved it! Would definitely stay again
