What our customers say about their holidays

Review Thank you so much for our stay, We had the best time ever for our sisters Hen do!

All the guests were very delighted to have been in such an amazing property that offers their guests the highest levels of luxury through personalized services, a vast range of amenities, and a very well sophisticated accommodation. Archstone house offers luxurious décor and carefully selected furnishings with high attention to detail. The guestrooms and suites are tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings and consistent design, ample space, king sized beds and premium bedding. Archstone house was very clean when we had arrived! We are quite lucky in the sense that we have been one of the first to be able to visit as there is no snagging or anything in the property. The only thing I would like to add is,( now this is not a complaint but please take it as feedback, as it may help guests in the future) it would be nice to add some different types of cleaning products, ( fairy, sponges, cleaning sprays, wipes), Maybe some complimentary toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) As we had to go out and buy our own, It was a slight inconvenience as we were not familiar with the area yet. For example these are everyday essentials which we could have bought from home, but we had thought for the price we had paid these would be provided as you would in any 5* hotel. It would also be good to add some door hooks, door locks in bedrooms and bath mats and shower mats. Lastly I would like to appreciate the communication between us and the booking was on point, the whole booking process was made easy, with us having a large group, some of us had questions to ask, so anytime we asked anything Becky was to hand and able to answer anything. Thank you so much to the team at Archstone house, we hope to visit again soon.

We are a group of 10 ladies who hire a cottage annually.

We are always looking for luxury and comfort and Archstone House gave us all that and more. It is a beautiful House with a well thought layout. The kitchen is a brilliant social area with a large table to seat us all for meals and a fantastic massive U shaped sofa that allowed us to all sit together to relax. It is a very well equipped kitchen with lots of cups/glasses/plates so you are not without whilst some are in the dishwasher. There are two large fridges which is excellent as one we kept all our food in and the other all our drinks for the weekend. The utility room is a huge bonus too. The bedrooms were of a very high standard and the beds so comfortable. The hot tub was a huge hit too and immaculate. The owners of Archstone House are fantastic and very proactive, they got in touch to see if we had any questions before our stay (I did) and accommodated a couple of requests no problem at all. We received a welcome pack on arrival too which was a lovely touch Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break.

      An absolutely stunning find.

Placed close enough to the village center and supermarkets that its just a two minute walk away, but secluded enough that you're out the way of the noise. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean from top to bottom and all precautions had been taken to make sure there was no cross contamination from the previous visitors. With dog friendly places, there's always a worry of the rooms smelling "Doggy" however, every single room was clean and fresh and no odors or dog hairs. The couch and bed were amazingly comfortable and the log burner was a brilliant addition Any kitchen utensil you can think of is provided as well as spotlessly clean cutlery, glasses, plates and cups as well as washing up liquid, hand cleaner and even biscuits, sweets and a fresh pint of milk left in the fridge. The only thing i would note is that the stairs are steep. not a problem for us, however, an older couple may have problems getting up and down. will definitely be booking this again.

The grandeur of the property, the abundance of luxurious amenities, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout the premises all contributed to making our stay unforgettable. The comfort of the beds, the well-equipped kitchens, the perfectly placed jacuzzis, all added to our enjoyment and peace of mind. There were 11 of us for 1st couple of nights, then 6 for the rest of the week.

Sofas in both rooms are massive and can get you all on. Everything in the house is to a very high standard/quality. House was spotlessly clean. Lots of crockery and glasses, you will never run out! Bedrooms are all large with plenty of hanging space in each room. (If you have got a lot of hanging items, take some extra hangers) Beds are really comfy. Towels for each person were on the bed. Dressing gowns and slippers in wardrobe. Views are amazing when sat in the hot tub!! This is an amazing property, you won’t be disappointed!! One very minor issue, it’s quite hard to find with the postcode. Everyone of us got lost, so did the Tesco home delivery guy, and the takeout guy, local taxi driver. When you are getting close look for a small sign for dewhurst farm. Lookout for the house, think there are 4 very large stone houses together, turn up the gravel road. Other than that you will have an amazing time.
