Guests say

Driftwood is a well-received holiday cottage in Newquay, Cornwall, praised for its excellent location, comfort, and high-standard facilities. Guests have enjoyed the proximity to Crantock Beach and local amenities, the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The property is described as clean, beautifully decorated, and perfect for family holidays. While there is a mention of an overgrown garden, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

The property is consistently described as very clean throughout, with only a single mention of an overgrown garden which does not directly relate to the cleanliness of the house itself.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Crantock Beach, local shops, and pubs, with guests appreciating the central position for exploring the area.

Guests have found the house very comfortable, mentioning the comfy beds and lounge area. There is a minor suggestion for blackout curtains to improve sleep quality during summer.

Facilities are well-regarded with a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and household appliances. The only issue raised was regarding the maintenance of the garden, which suggests room for improvement in outdoor maintenance.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of a welcome pack and attention to detail in amenities. However, it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The house was immaculate however the garden was overgrown in particular the grass which was very long and the shrubs in the front garden

The house is beautifully decorated, with everything we could possibly need to make our stay so comfortable. The owner has thought of everything, with a well stocked kitchen, lots of household appliances & a very clean outside area. The hot tub was great to get into at the end of a fun packed day and then relax in the fluffy robes. We will definitely return.
