What our customers say about their holidays

    • Bethan - Verified booking

      The caravan is absolutely lovely.

We felt comfortable and at home instantly. Despite being dog friendly, dogs are not allowed on the furniture so something to think about if yours are used to this. We had park maintenance people enter the caravan unannounced shortly after arriving which was a little unsettling as they unlocked the caravan and let themselves in. The outside deck and furniture wasn’t cleaned and we’d have appreciated extra toilet rolls, washing up liquid or dishwasher tabs to be included in the caravan as these were an extra expense that we didn’t need to take home with us. A fan would also be good for hot weather as we had to lug ours from home or would’ve needed to purchase one whilst there. No WIFI in the caravan which we knew but the phone signal is poor so this made researching places, ordering food or even setting up the sat nav difficult. The location is perfect as plenty of beaches nearby but also isn’t too far a drive to go towards St Ives/Lands End way or up towards Port Isaac and further. There’s plenty of food options and shops for groceries nearby and the caravan park itself is lovely. Overall we’d thoroughly recommend 109 Bude and we will be booking to stay here on all our future visits.

We had a really love stay at Cubert no3.

The caravan itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, as was the little welcome gift waiting for us (thank you!). The location was good - quick drive into Perranporth one way, or a few minutes more the other way into Newquay. There’s a nearby shop in the village with a great little bakery inside selling an array of pasties and cakes. The site was very well maintained with a small play area for children. There’s also a decent size swimming pool (you have to book in at customer services but we didn’t have any problems getting in). The bar was clean with friendly staff, but a little expensive - as expected for a caravan site. Only two comments which stopped it from being perfect - there’s no shop on site. It’s really handy to be able to pick up basics when needed without having to get into a car. Secondly, the WiFi. We rely heavily on WiFi to find places to visit, activities, timings and bookings, but we were rarely able to get online as mobile signal was also very weak. This made it difficult to make plans. Though there is WiFi in the bar, this was also temperamental often needing to be reset. Overall, a lovely week - shame about the weather!!

We came from Germany to Cornwall and stayed for two weeks at Garden View.

We have to say that we had a really good time. The contact with Alison in advance and during the stay was always easy and she is very helpful. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The kittchen was very well equiped. And the dining room in the conservatory is really great. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has everything you need. The garden was great for our dog and is completely enclosed with no possibility to escape, even for little dogs. The town of Quintrell Downs is located a few miles from Newquay and a bus stop is located only a short foodwalk from the cottage. We mostly used the bus for trips to the coast and never had to wait very long for the next bus to come. There are some very nice pubs located in a foodwalk distance of the cottage. The surrounding area is really wonderful. There are so many things to do and see in Cornwall that our two weeks were not enough to explore all what we wanted. And we have to mention that this is a very dog friendly region as our Sammy was very welcome nearly everywhere we went. So we give a high recommendation for a stay at Garden View.

I impulsively booked & so lucky this beautiful holiday home was available.

I drive 4.5 hours with my 2 doggos & got there to the most lovely, cleaning and cosy and stunning place. I’m really weird about sanitising every place I go to stay but this was so clean I did not feel I needed to at all. That’s out of the ordinary. Most places that accept dogs are not so on par with places that don’t. This is the exception! I felt instantly comfortable and everything in it is beautiful. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t even miss my own bed, oh and the shower!!! The shower is absolutely incredible! There even was hot tub that was instantly ready to jump into when I arrived, but although I did not use it, I know that would be an ultimate bonus to everyone else! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and absolutely spot on. Only one thing that was a downside and that’s not having WiFi and my phone signal was extremely poor up there to compensate or hotspot my laptop. However, I was somehow able to hotspot to the tv to watch Netflix, which made it even more home from home. I cannot recommend this beautiful holiday home enough!

109 Bude is a lovely holiday property based on an away resorts site.

We visited with our 2 miniture daschunds who loved the lodge. No issues with dogs on the site and perfect location to get to places like Parranporth, which has a great dog friendly beach. Great outdoor tap with hot and cold to wash the dogs off aswell. The property was clean, has been well kept. Some of the kitchen knives are blunt/hard to use but know this is standard for a holiday rental. Facilities onsite was great, we got a full load of washing done at the launderette and the dryer only took 20 minutes. Lovely little bar and had a swimming pool but didn't go to this (as dogs can't be left in the lodge). May be worth the owner grabbing some site maps to keep in the lodge for future guests. The bed was a little uncomfy and the sofa's are a tad stiff. After a busy day you were glad to be sat down and it was bearable. Also a shame there was no WiFi, we are with O2 and struggled to get any good connection. Outside the property signal was okay. If we had Wi-Fi available, then we would consider staying again.
