Guests say

Guests have praised the Great Western Farmhouse for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The property's location in Crantock is appreciated for its proximity to the beach, local pubs, and scenic walks. The addition of a hot tub and the welcome touch of fresh flowers and scones have been well received, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The property is consistently described as clean, with one review specifically noting it as 'beautifully clean'. The presence of fresh flowers suggests a well-maintained environment.

The location is highly praised for being close to the beach, local amenities, and offering beautiful walks. Its centrality in the village of Crantock is seen as ideal.

Comfort is frequently mentioned positively, with references to comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, some guests noted issues with low doorways and steps, which could affect comfort for taller individuals or those with mobility concerns.

Facilities like the well-stocked kitchen and hot tub are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as leaks, window safety, and garden furniture needing upgrades.

The provision of scones, tea, coffee, and fresh flowers indicates thoughtfulness. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should be aware that such personal touches, while delightful, may vary.

Our large 4 bed home was well equipped with a hot-tub ready to go and a useful complimentary set of logs and kindle for the log burner. Virtually next door were two great pubs. Further out were those stunning cliff top walks we were seeking. The cottage and the location were the key to another successful break away and whilst it did have steep narrow steps in some parts that was never going to interfere with our enjoyment of a proper home from home. Would we go back?- yes we would and would recommend you try this one out yourselves too. Dave & Debbie and the gang.

Very Pleased and we would recommend it. It suited all the family. There was everything we needed. We would have liked to stay longer. Tastefully refurbished plus all mod cons. Lots of different levels but it was not difficult to move around. Not suitable for a wheelchair user but our 78 year old was fine and loved it.

Would definitely rebook if revisiting the area.
