The property boasts quality furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, and a secure garden, making it ideal for families and dog owners. The hot tub and sea views are frequently highlighted as highlights, contributing to a memorable stay.
Reviewers frequently mention the property being spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One review suggests a need for a deep clean, but this appears to be an isolated comment.
The property's location in Mawgan Porth, Newquay, is highly praised for its stunning sea views and proximity to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and the convenience for sightseeing and coastal walks.
Numerous guests have commented on the comfortable beds, spaciousness, and the overall luxurious feel of the property. The presence of multiple TVs and a snug room adds to the comfort for different age groups.
Facilities such as the hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden are frequently commended. However, one review mentioned a chair issue, and another noted the drive needing attention, suggesting minor maintenance could enhance the facilities further.
The welcome hamper and other thoughtful touches are warmly received by guests, contributing to the overall positive experience. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Mawgan Porth lies between Watergate Bay and Padstow, a lesser known cove than the busy beaches in Newquay. It sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty and its sheltered beach is flanked by tall granite cliffs. The famous South West Coastal Path can be picked up at the beach. As with all the beaches in the area it's popular for its Atlantic rollers and ranked high among Cornwall's top surfing destinations. There is professional surfing tuition and hire available on the beach for all ages with RNLI lifeguards in operation during the main season. The beach is also dog friendly year round. For days out, head up the coast to the pretty harbour town of Padstow or into the vibrant resort of Newquay where there are a whole host of activities on offer should you encounter a rainy day. Whatever the time of year, a stay at Pepperpots is sure be a happy one. Sorry, no stags, hens and end of school / university parties are not allowed. Pets not allowed upstairs or on any furniture.
Nestled between Newquay and Padstow on the beautiful north Cornish coast, Mawgan Porth is a sheltered cove with golden sandy beach, great surf and plenty of caves and coastal footpath to explore. With little distraction from its golden sands, life here revolves around the beach. Laze in the summer sun, learn to ride the waves, or watch over stormy seas on a refreshing cliff top stroll. Mawgan Porth is also home to the fabulous adults-only Scarlet Hotel, which offers Spa treatments and facilities to non-residents - and nearby there is a wealth of fine dining restaurants such as Paul Ainsworth's No 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. Mawgan Porth has a handful of shops, including a village store and deli, and a farm shop selling locally sourced meat, eggs, vegetables, bread and pasties, as well as tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and an 18-hole golf course overlooking the Atlantic.

The location is amazing with fabulous views of the sea and close to the village of Mawgan Porth that had a wealth of options for buying local produce or dining at the restaurants to sample the local cuisine. The standard of the house is superb with everything considered to make your holiday an absolute joy.

We opened the doors which helped. We were shocked that the sofas were so badly stained and marked as were the chairs by the dining area. There was obviously a lot of other peoples dogs hair on the sofa (to put your feet on) as we found out when our clothes were covered in hair, not our dogs as she isnât allowed on furniture! We used throws on sofa after that. The above was a shame as the rest of the property was fine, a good clean of the furniture is needed , probably needs replacing.
