Guests appreciate the well-equipped, clean, and spacious accommodation, with special mentions of internet connectivity and a welcoming atmosphere. Some concerns over maintenance and amenities are noted, but the charm of the cottage and its surroundings often outweigh these.
Most guests found Seapinks Cottage to be spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, there were isolated reports of unclean bedding, which slightly impacts the overall cleanliness perception.

One of the real Cornish jewels is Port Isaac. The old village in the valley, a charming fishing community nestled in a valley with steep sides, has hardly altered since the previous century, when it was a centre for smuggling, slate export, and fishing. You can find a lot of little character homes mixed in with bigger cliff-top retreats, all with convenient access to the village's many eateries and shops. As the water recedes, the sandy harbour offers an abundance of rock pools. The village is a well-liked tourist destination with numerous of attractions, including the spectacular Doyden Castle, the lovely Lundy Bay, and the well-known Doc Martin's clinic.

Also property was a bit tired and could do with a bit of tlc, such as window handles/locks a bit rickety. There was also no airer indoors to hang items which cannot be tumble dried. Saying that, it may be common for the area but the house did feel very damp and nothing tended to dry indoors anyway. All of this is easily overlooked as the location was amazing and its great to have 2 parking spaces in a place like Port Isaac.

They were not clean. No instructions on using heat, fireplace or complex cooker. Fuse blew easily with only 2 burners running on very large cooker. 9:30 checkout was too early. No info about the fact there is no parking in town and walk is very long and steep making visits for people with mobility challenges a real struggle. We arrived on Sunday so no one to call - only number for major emergency. Everything else was fine. House was lovely but stay felt very challenging. This was after booking a place online with agency and then having it cancelled because owner said it wasnât long enough (no mention of that requirement on listing) and had to find another place. App/website didnât work well, so communication was a challenge. Had to call every time during limited office hours. Would much prefer Airbnb or VRBO in future

We also had a blackfly infestation for our first three days which was quite disgusting and stressful to deal with. The corner sofa is a bit tired and in need of replacement and an additional chair in the bay window should be provided. The conservatory is a bit of a strange space as it only houses the tumble dryer with no seating. We were also unable to get into the cottage until 415 and considering we were asked to leave by 9:30 in the morning this didnât get us off to a good start. There is a lack of storage for food available in the kitchen and dining area. And we were only provided with two dishwasher tablets which again is a little bit disappointing.
