Guests consistently praise Silver Sands for its stunning views, excellent location, and high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The apartment's proximity to attractions and dining, as well as thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, contribute to its appeal. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted issues with maintenance and cleanliness on occasion.
The majority of guests found the apartment to be spotlessly clean, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. However, a few recent reviews mentioned concerns with cleanliness, particularly with kitchenware and washing machine, slightly affecting the overall high standard.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, convenience to the beach and St Ives, and accessibility by train. The scenic coastal path and nearby attractions are frequently mentioned as highlights. The steepness of the hill to the beach was noted by some with mobility issues.
Guests describe the apartment as comfortable, well-furnished, and equipped with comfortable beds and seating. The peaceful environment and the quality of the interior contribute to a relaxing stay. A few guests mentioned issues with Sky Q Box, but overall comfort levels are very high.
Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with special mentions of the spa passes and high-tech features. However, there were some reports of maintenance issues, such as a malfunctioning gate code and a washing machine in need of attention, which suggests room for improvement.
Many guests appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts of chocolate, scones, and cream, which added to the enjoyment of their stay. It is politely noted that while these gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Definitely the view is very nice and balcony is a great bonus to enjoy this during the good weather. I liked a secured parking with designated space. However, on our arrival we had issue with opening the gate. When I called agency the person on the phone was lovely, and promised that someone from the maintenance team would call. Unfortunately no-one called at all. For a long time we were keep trying to open the gate and other residents were unhappy with it as it was unsuccessful. We tried to input code provided in email. It's turned up that code provided in email was wrong (missing #at the end). After a long time finally asking a neighbour, we managed to open the gate and get in. Overall cleanliness of the property was OK. Unfortunately, most of the cutlery, plates and cups were dirty (some spoons and forks had a food pieces on it). That was not nice at all after you have a long journey and you would like to straight away eat. Dirty cutlery and plates made me more upset when we discovered that there is no washing up liquid (bottle was empty with literally water down one spoon of iquid). Also, there was no soap to wash hands with. So just a few minutes after we got to the flat, we were forced out to get basic shopping. Apart from this we got 2 dishwasher tablets and 2 laundry capsules. We travel often, also not first time we were renting from Carbis Bay, but that was first time that so many things were unclean and supplies were very little. We appreciated a little welcome chocolate, coffee, tea, and milk - thank you for those. Perhaps, if those little things would be right from beginning, I would happily rent this property again, but maintenance and cleanliness are the last thing you should worry about on your arrival.

Everything you could wish for in a holiday property. Having some mobile difficulties; I would gave liked to have been informed of the steepness of the hill down to the beach and the horrendous parking prices there.
