Tremorva is a well-loved holiday cottage in St Ives, Cornwall, praised for its stunning views, great location, and comfortable amenities. Guests have enjoyed the property's spaciousness, quality fixtures, and family-friendly features. While some guests mentioned issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the quick response to reported problems and the property's overall charm and convenience have led to many repeat visits and recommendations.
The property received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests found it spotlessly clean, others noted areas that could benefit from a deeper clean, such as dusty skirtings and bathroom drains with an odour. The quick resolution of reported issues suggests a commitment to maintaining standards.
The location of the property is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciated the ease of access to coastal paths, beaches, and nearby Carbis Bay, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Guests have found the property to be very comfortable, with high-quality bedding and mattresses mentioned. The spaciousness and roomy interiors provided ample space for families and groups. However, some guests noted issues with furniture that could affect comfort, such as a squeaky bed.
Facilities like the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and entertainment options were appreciated, but some guests reported maintenance issues such as non-functional hot tub jets and minor wear and tear. The prompt attention to problems indicates good service, but there is room for improvement in ongoing maintenance.
Several guests were delighted by thoughtful touches like the provision of tea, coffee, and milk upon arrival. However, as these gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, they should be considered a bonus rather than an expectation.

The property was perfect for our family holiday, large bedrooms with comfortable beds, one bedroom separate from the others gave my daughter some privacy with her new baby. Lovely fully fitted kitchen with everything you would need, a large dining area and plenty lounge areas to enjoy time together.Private parking was ideal and the rear outdoor space was fantastic.

With 7 members of our family. The house is in a fantastic location , with amazing views We could walk to Carbis bay in around 12 mins, and around 15 mins into st Ives. The house is very comfortable, the bedding and mattresses are of high quality. The kitchen has a good spec, and has two cookers, so we could cook easily for the whole family. The garden is nicely appointed and the table tennis was a big hit. It also has a downstairs toilet, and laundry room, this is next to the den which has games, and a PS3, with a big TV. Overall the house is fantastic and we would return. Just a couple of notes for the owner, needs a repaint/ touch in some areas, en-suite bathrooms need new grout and silicone.we found some areas were dusty, by TVs and radiators.

We loved staying there. The Hot Tub was very popular after a hard day's walking. We self catered but ate once at the local Cornish Arms where the traditional pub food was plentiful and nicely cooked (and we won the Wednesday evening quiz). We also had fish and chips from Becks which everyone enjoyed. There is a combi microwave as part of the oven stack. It was complicated and we didn't work out how to use it as it had so many functions. There is also an instant boiling water tap which needs a better label. On one occasion the label was not seen in the low light and scalded one of the party, thankfully not seriously. But maybe only a matter of time
