Letterston 3 miles. This delightful cottage sits on a complex of four cottages in the village of Castle Morris, amidst the scenery of Pembrokeshire. Set over two floors, 2 Yr Hen Felin welcomes families seeking a stay in this wonderful country location. After a day of fell walking, take off your walking gear and retire to the lounge, complete with a woodburning stove and TV, ideal for homely movie nights. Move to the kitchen, where the designated chef can impress with a hearty dish, utilising a range of appliances. Take the evening outside and step through the French doors to the enclosed garden, perching on the seat and reflecting on the day. Wash away the day in the bathroom, before taking off to either the double or bunk room, both wonderfully presented. When you’re ready to venture out, start your day with a stroll along the nearby pebble beach before taking to the cliffs of Carreg Samson and admiring the stunning coastline. Further north, discover Strumble Head Lighthouse, or journey south to Blue Lagoon, where you’ll be blown away by the sparking azure waters! Be sure to visit the hustle and bustle at Haverfordwest, home to a number of amenities and attractions including the Haverfordwest Town Museum, Picton Castle Gardens and Scolton Manor. Other places worth adding to your itinerary include Porthgain, Abereiddy, the Blue Lagoon, Solva and Newport, all accessible in a scenic drive. 2 Yr Hen Felin is a magnificent escape, whatever time of year.
Letterston is a village with two pubs, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a gas station with a general store, a newsagents, a butcher, and a post office scattered along the main road from Haverfordwest to Fishguard. This community is quite intriguing because there isn't a central location for these amenities, which are instead dispersed along the main road and down side roads. This sprawling village's ideal position provides quick and simple access to everything Pembrokeshire has to offer. With the county town of Haverfordwest to the south and Fishguard's Irish ferry terminal to the north, a day excursion to Ireland can add some diversity to your vacation. Letterston is one of the best-located settlements for your Pembrokeshire vacation year-round because of the nearby award-winning coastal route, fantastic sandy beaches, bird islands, castles galore, golf courses, theme parks, and much more.

It was spotlessly clean and the enclosed garden was ideal for our small dog. We had a very enjoyable holiday with everything we needed in a lovely spot with beautiful countryside around.

It was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and bed was comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and felt super relaxed. 5 stars from us with just 2 bits of feedback: The instructions to find the property were unclear and we had to use Google earth to find it ourselves. And secondly, as its not that close to a shop, a small carton of milk would have been so appreciated when we arrived just to get a cuppa after a long travel. Just an idea :)
Patricia
The furnishings where excellent, the cleanliness was first class, sometimes when a property is dog friendly the owner does not go the extra mile but this was not the case there was no doggy smell it was pristine.. we will be back and hope the weather will be kinder!!
