We had a great stay and loved the dual aspect sitting room with it's excellent views of the harbour.
Everything worked as it should, though adjusting the separate under floor heating in each room defeated us. The location was great; quiet enough yet close enough to the centre of town and it's restaurants (though privacy might be something to consider in the busy summer months). Weymouth has enough to warrant a good explore, even out of season, and we found some excellent restaurants and coffee shops. We also managed quite a few 'must have' items in the excellent homeware/design boutiques. The only major stress was not something the owners could do anything about. I managed to squeeze my estate car into the car park, but getting it out again was a nightmare and led to a scratched car (reversing out seemed the only way to do it).The lesson - don't be stupid like I was and ignore the warning over the maximum car size! I parked at 5.30pm one evening in the Britannia car park and left at 11.30am the next morning, which resulted in a £48 charge. My preferred choice was the Council Offices car park directly opposite and visible from the flat. £14 per day, with payment possible from the flat using the 'JustPark' app.

Lovely apartment bigger than expected and had everything we needed / wanted for our new year break.
Kitchen well equipped and plenty of hanging space available for coats etc. lots of wardrobe space in bedrooms but really in need of some draws for non hanging clothes. A set of drawers could easily be placed in wardrobe without loss of hanging space (only criticism but we managed) Easy arrival and departure with key safe and lift helpful with heavy bags. Smart TV was great on a cold, wet afternoon / evening. Very clean, good bed linen, comfortable bed and heavy curtains in bedroom good to block out morning light. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, UHT milk useful after a long journey but Tesco Express just around the corner which was very useful. Excellent location for places to eat / drink and 5 minutes walk to beach front. We knew that there was no way our car would fit in the allocated parking and on inspection can why. We pulled up outside to unload cases then parked else where no problem. View over harbour was lovely and happy to sit in pjâs and not feel over looked or on view. Overall great apartment and happy to return.

This is a lovely property, with a great location.
It was very comfortable for six people. I would not wish to be there with eight. It is certainly big enough for eight people, and would not feel over-crowded. However, you can only (just) fit six to eat at the kitchen/dining table, and the seating in the sitting room only just suits six people - you certainly couldn't get eight people relaxing to watch a film in there, for example. All it would take is a bigger kitchen/dining table, and an extra large sofa and it would be perfect for eight. The listing is not accurate, in that none of the windows on the front open (so, that's three of the four bedrooms and the sitting room). I expect it's because of the (very efficient) secondary double-glazing as it is on the main road into Lyme, but we'd have preferred some noise, and the ability to open the windows. The dishwasher needs salt and rinse aid, which was not supplied. All that said, we would return. Everything else excellent - clean, comfortable, generally spacious and very close to beach and town.

Excellent location overlooking the central beach area and a few minutes from Weymouth's shops.
Royal Quarters was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are of good size (including one en-suite - the shower has a half screen so you may need to put towels done to mop up excess water!) with generous furniture. The open-plan kitchen/lounge has cosy sofas, a large dining table with benching and a fully resourced kitchen. The additional bathroom means a family can easily co-exist when they need to freshen up! The decor is tasteful and reflects Weymouth's coastal location. Royal Quarters really is an excellent apartment and comes highly recommended. Two things to note - there is no lift, so you'll get good exercise up to the third floor. Also, outside parking will be very, very difficult to obtain - you may get away with a loading bay when you arrive and leave - but you'll most likely park your car in a nearby car park, still within 5 mins. But these are very minor quibbles.

Beautiful property with little touches that make it perfect.
As soon as we arrived we could see that the property was sparkly clean and well-maintained. In the kitchen, there was a hamper of goodies and fresh flowers which were beautiful touches. There was a personalised welcome letter and lots of further information about the area and the property. The dining room was perfect for our family gathering and the kitchen was well-equipped to easily cater for 20 people. It was helpful to have a couple of practical things such as dishwasher tablets/sponge etc Each bedroom was well laid out and well equipped. The lounge served as a great spot to relax or play games. In addition to the sofas, the extra fold-up chairs are a great idea The location meant that we could walk into the town/harbour in a few minutes to eat/shop and cross the road to the beach. We highly recommend this property to larger groups
