What our customers say about their holidays

    • Margaret - Verified booking

Unfortunately there was a lot of work going on outside the building which we had been told about, although not to the extent that it was happening.

Also there was a lot of work going on in the flat next door, which involved them taking tiled off the wall apparently, which felt like they were going to come through the wall and was extremely noisy, so much so that we had to go out as it was unbearable. This is obviously not something within the control of the owner. We were offered alternative accommodation, but only one offered was within Tenby and when we looked at the reviews, there were comments about noise, so there was no point moving. Everything else offered was in the middle of nowhere! Parking is a real issue with this property, we only have a medium sized car, but if there had been cars either side, we would not have got into the gap. You really need to check this out before you book I feel. There is only carpet in the bedroom and the rest of the floor are freezing cold, well they are in March! So you need to take your slippers or socks with you. The shower is also a bit strange as it is tucked into a corner, which makes it difficult to access the shower if you just want to wash your hair over the bath, I gave up in the end, as it was too difficult. It is a nice little flat and perfectly placed in Tenby, but I am not sure that we would go back.

The location of the apartment is excellent, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

The kitchen and bathroom are worn and need an upgrade. Kitchen generally well stocked though. Hot water situation very difficult especially with chicken. You need to remember to boost the emersion and the hot water comes out as a trickle. Takes at least half an hour to run a bath for each child and not enough hot water supply to run multiple baths for multiple children. Takes a good 5 mins to run enough water for washing up. Television/ remote for TV are faulty so navigating the menu and using it very difficult. Parking was a complete nightmare. The spaces are too small for the average size car especially when you consider the apartments are advertised for 5 people, so no one is going to be bringing a tiny vehicle. I was blocked in by another resident for a large part of my stay so couldn’t leave Tenby, which was very frustrating. I wouldn’t return to this apartment block or recommend this accommodation because of the parking issues and lack of on-demand hot water.

We had a fantastic time at Sea Drift – it truly was home from home, and I wished we could have stayed for the whole summer.

The whole flat was spotlessly clean, and the owner Marilyn went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The flat is in an excellent location on a quiet street of residential properties, and you can see the beautiful sea from the flat - A few minutes’ walk, and you are on Tenby’s gorgeous beach, or a few minutes walk in the other direction and you are in the middle of Tenby shops and restaurants. The beds are so comfortable with all bedding and towels provided and the whole flat was decorated so tastefully. Secure parking in underground car park with allocated space was so easy as we didn’t have to worry about trying to find a car parking space. I cannot think of anything that could be improved - everything that you could possibly need for a wonderful stay is included. I would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again.

We've just come back from a fabulous stay in glorious Tenby (well it was sunny while we were there).

There is plenty to do around Tenby with a highlight being the Seal Safari boat trip. The apartment is 50 yards from the steps down to Castle beach which meant we could go for evening strolls on the beach, a bit of beach cricket and the odd dip in sea. The apartment was scrupulously clean, so thank you. We were left with plenty of household supplies. We appreciated the washer, drier. The apartment is not the largest, but it was fine for 5 people and being modern and compact did mean we could keep it clean. Tenby is good for benches, sitting watching the sea. As previous people have mentioned, the parking space is narrow if you have a large car. I would advise checking with the owner if you have a big car, plus we checked the height as we have a top box. We were fine with a Citroen Picasso. The communication with the owner was excellent.

We were a party of 2 adults and 4 children so the layout of the property was perfect for us.

(The boys thought it was very funny to sleep in a pink bedroom) It was very well equipped for cooking and preparing picnics, and the children loved the freedom of going to the well stocked Londis shop next to the property and shopping on their own and going to buy their own ice creams at the Ocean. The decor of the property was very tastefully furnished with lots of nice touches which made it seem so much more than a holiday rental. The owners rang to check that everything was ok for us and that we had no issues. Everything was perfect and luckily so was the weather. we would highly recommend. Places to visit …Clerkenhill adventure farm, reasonably priced and lots to do. Little Haven ……St Brides for a meal, family run pub. Dale. The Griffin board games for kids.
