We had a very enjoyable stay at Foxglove Cottage over the Easter holidays. Although a bit smaller than we anticipated it was lovely and clean and very snug. As it was tucked away in its own little court yard it was safe for the dog as we didn’t have to worry about her running on to the road. The car was also safe parked next to the cottage. It was an idea base for walking the coastal paths and running the dog on the beach. The Londis shop was very well stocked and we enjoyed fish and chips and pizza from the various cafes and restaurants. The dog even got some doggy ice cream.

The cottage was the perfect location for us to be able to view all that pembrokeshire and South Wales has to offer. The cottage itself was a home from home with everything you would need. The owners were lovely and accommodating, the tea and coffee that was left for us was a lovely addition after a very long drive. The setting is beautiful and great for families. The gardens were fabulous and the inside of the property was very nicely done and we felt comfortable and at home right away. I was very impressed with the whole set-up and the attention to detail. The power shower was fantastic for washing the sand out of your hair! It must be a wonderful place to take young children - I wished for a minute that mine were little again! The gardens were child friendly and there were outdoor toys provided.

It has everything we needed and even more (the playground was a great hit with the kids, and the special attention to baby safety a great hit with us!) A fantastic property in a great position for easy walk to the beach and cafes, etc. We (grandparents) were sharing with our young family so the three storey lay-out was ideal with the youngsters sleeping on the ground floor and the oldies on the top floor and spending time together in between and on the glorious beach! We were very spoilt with unbroken sunshine for seven days - very unusual for Wales but very welcome.
