It was a lovely house good location for fistral beach and the shops both a 10min walk the garden was OK didn't spend much time in there but the hedges needed cutting as overflowing especially were you park the car and the ensuite there was black mould starting to form in the grout and the thermostat for the shower was stuck on what was like washing in boiling water for the wife i manage to free it up so it works which revealed the stop on the temperature is non working and loose so be careful kitchen was clean and well stocked but the surface was like glue put a loaf of bread on there and when come to use it in the morning we had to peal it off which left the pattern on the side which took a bit to clean off and there was quite abit off dust and cobwebs about the property which we had to clean up abit in the kids room as she as dust allergies which then comes to the hoover which when turn on left a God awful smell off wet dog would I go back yes I would as the location was spot on any were eles then I would have to think about it

My husband and i arrived at this wonderful accommodation, we had specifically chosen this let as we had stayed near by only a few months ago.

It was everything we were looking for, modern, spacious, fantastic location to Fistral Beach, as well has the town centre and harbour. The accommodation has everything you could wish for and more besides and is very very clean! Unfortunately on our second day i was admitted to hospital after suffering an heart attack. After a conversation with the property manager regarding extending our stay, for obvious reasons. I was amazed ................ this lovely lady text back telling my husband not to worry that this could be arranged. The genuine concern was fantastic! We also received messages and calls from the owner. At this difficult time, being a 5 hour drive from home, it was such a reassurance. We even got a call from the owner a few days after we returned home to see how i was doing. A Great BIG THANK YOU to both the property manager and owners, you all went above and beyond anything we could have expected.

Firstly property is well stocked with good facilities and close to town, shops and amazing beaches.

Property owners did get in touch before our stay and provide lots of useful information which was great. But... sofa was very stained and could do with a good vac and steam clean. Dining chair ripped and needs replacing. Garden was depressing. More of a yard. A bit of weeding and an easy to maintain potted plant would make a big difference. Shelves in side of fridge missing. Appreciate damage done by previous guests and it’s getting to end of a busy summer season. I also appreciate property is pet friendly (ours is a small non shedding dog luckily) but did expect for the price charged it to be cleaner. Couple of air fresheners perhaps. Situated on a very busy roundabout that was very noisy especially through the night with windows open. Couple of dishwasher tablets and some milk would have been nice to help after a long journey and avoid the shops as with our previous property in Fowey.

Everything was lovely about this holiday property.

The house was well equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated. The owners even left a selection of books, games, dvds, and puzzles, should you need them. Lots of useful stuff in the kitchen. (And thank you for the welcome pack too.) The oven was different to what we are used to so it would have been good to see the instruction book. But we managed. Two very tiny issues and these were not major, but i think useful going forwards to know. The outside tap is tucked behind the big box and a short hose would be helpful for rinsing dogs, wet suits or beach stuff. And when i booked i saw single beds in the second bedroom and when we arrived the bed was made up as a king size. Again not a big issue for us as we were family. And maybe my fault as i only read this was something we should of asked for when i read the welcome folder. Overall, a great location and we enjoyed our stay at the Waves.
