We loved it!! Thank you so much we will definitely be returning to Gargoyle. A beautiful character cottage in the heart of St Agnes, short stroll to the beach, across the street from great tapas bar and Chinese restaurant (great take away!). Parking ideal as st Agnes is a busy place to park! Fantastic communication before and during booking process. Cottage was clean and ready on our arrival well before stated time, keys easy access in a secure safe, we LOVED the electric garage! Safe And secure fenced front garden and back yard. Beautiful newly done kitchen, fantastic fridge - we LOVED the ice machine! Great dining table, so much room and cupboards. All the extras like sky tv, games, books, travel mags, high chair, baby gate, BBQ, vac, iron just made it even more perfect! Large double bedrooms with loads of storage cupboards and shelves, white, crisp, comfy beds and pillows. Beautiful traditional sash windows. Great bathroom and en-suite with hot powerful showers and bath, cleaning products available to freshen up throughout the week. Such an enjoyable holiday made even better by this fantastic cottage. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed a lovely week here with family. The cottage was ideally suited for our family of 6 people plus a baby. It is spacious, stylish, clean and very well equipped with a pretty outdoor area that was perfect for an evening BBQ. Parking was also a bonus for Cornwall! We had never stayed in St Agnes before, but loved everything the village has to offer. We enjoyed meals at The Tap House and Peterville Inn which are both just a two minute walk from the house. Up in the main village we also had a fabulous meal at Taste. Down by the beach we can highly recommend Schooners bar, just to sit looking out across the beach whilst enjoying a drink and some delicious Tacos. Driftwood Spars by the beach has a lovely outdoor area and also serves great food! For anyone who enjoys walking its a stunning walk from the beach, south along the coastal path to Chapel Porth beach via Wheal Coates tin mine. The Owner was a very helpful and accommodating in all our communications. We would highly recommend a stay here! Thank you!

On entering the house I was immediately impressed with the quality of the materials used in what I assumed was a fairly recent renovation. From the rustic slate flooring in the entrance lobby and kitchen, to the superbly fitted kitchen and bathrooms. Everything oozed class. Being a keen cook, the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare first class meals. This even included an American style fridge freezer with cold water and ice dispenser and a vertical oven bank which included main oven, grill and microwave. As we benefited from glorious weather during most of our one week stay, the real bonus was the courtyard at the rear of the house. This was a great suntrap and was furnished with quality dining furniture and a Weber barbecue. As parking is limited in the area, the garage with remotely operated door was another huge bonus. All in all, this was one of the most pleasant places I have ever rented.

We've had a fantastic week at Birch House with a 2-and-a-half-year-old! The weather has been quite mixed with a couple of really blustery and rainy days so it's been the perfect house to come back to and enjoy for it's warmth, comfort and light space. We didn't realise there were sea views so that was a bonus. And our toddler was so excited to watch the cows, pigs, goats, rabbits and birds! The house is really beautifully done up and well-equipped. We've loved the upstairs for its light and space. It's very well situated so we've made the most of exploring the beaches, towns and other tourist attractions. Favourite beaches were Hollywell and Chapel Porth, the latter where I foraged for mussels and they were delicious! Thank you for sharing your fantastic home.

What a beautiful property, we have enjoyed our sunny mornings on the terrace! 5* for all of the amenities at this wonderful holiday home, we have really enjoyed the comfort, quietness and luxury. We have had wonderful visits to The Lost Gardens Of Heligan and of course The Eden Project - highly recommended. St Agnes village is so pretty, we have eaten at the Peterville Inn - very dog friendly and a lovely menu! Mevagissey harbour is well worth a visit and the beach at Godrevy is the most stunning I have seen. (National trust members - free car park). Lovely beach walks at St Ives, Hayle and Perranporth.
