What our customers say about their holidays

Very good location for touring in West Cornwall.

The following improvements are sugested. 1)More Wardrobe or hanging facility for clothes. 2) Instructions for operating the heating,Smart Android T.V., shower and combo microwave/grill would have been useful . We had to muddle through. The grill feature in particular we were unfamiliar with . It did not get hot enough to grill properly eg reheat a Pizza. Drinking glasses stored in a draw these rolled around and we were frightened of them breaking. A storage shelf would have been better.

The accommodation is perfectly situated where you could see the sun rise in the morning and perfect view of the surroundings.

It is very clean, tidy and well presented. Dog friendly and received a welcome gift for our dog with treats, a toy, blanket and dog bowl. Very spacious with lovely hot running water and we were able to sit and enjoy a spot of food at the table together and watch a movie later on in the evening on the TV. We sat in the evening outside on the deckchairs one evening on the decking area as it is so beautiful where they are placed. Definitely worth the stay and we will be booking again next year.

I knew from previous visits that Polgooth Inn was excellent & this time was no exception.

The beer & food is great & the staff are very friendly & helpful. This was the first time that I'd stayed there & I wasn't disappointed. The accommodation has everything that you'd need. The only downside was that I didn't realise that there was a short flight of steps. It was a good job that I had postponed my trip, as I would have struggled when I originally intended to be there - but that's not a criticism, just an observation.
