No 3 The Hinges in Crantock is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, each bedroom having its own bathroom, and the thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvement are noted, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests planning return visits.
Guests consistently mention the property being very clean, with only one remark about a grubby carpet suggesting a slight deduction. The high standard of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.
The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with proximity to the beach, pubs, and village shop. The ease of access to local amenities and attractions is a standout feature in the reviews.
The property is often described as comfortable, with comfortable beds and furnishings. There is a single mention of an uncomfortable bed in the smallest room, but overall, comfort levels are rated highly.
Facilities are generally well-received, with positive comments on the property being well-equipped. However, there are some minor maintenance issues mentioned, such as lamps not working and a difficult-to-use microwave, which slightly lower the score.
Guests frequently express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome packs, which include biscuits, milk, and sometimes seasonal items. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Brilliant accommodation and owner (Tom) was very quick to respond to queries. We were a party of 3 plus my English bulldog and the layout worked really well. The kitchen was great with everything we needed. Needless to say coming back next year and have already booked.

Short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to two pubs

This property was so comfortable for us - we were a party of 6 adults, two babies under 2 and a dog. There is plenty of living space and there was enough room on the settees for all of us. The location is excellent for anyone with little ones, as you can nip back from the beach very quickly, it is also very close to the village shop if you need anything. Feedback to the owner would be - the squeaky internal doors could do with some WD40, it would be good to have coasters for the lounge table as we were concerned about damaging it, and the seal is not great on the dishwasher so we had a leak at one point. This is a beautiful property and I wouldnât hesitate to recommend it.
